For the money I paid for subscription not that good. Especially updated version. There are several very frustrating things about this application. I tried to change password, but never received the email to my registered address. I tried for more then 10 times several days in the row. The localization to other languages then English is not good. The updated version is really difficult to navigate because they created several big groups and don’t show the names for the smaller steps anymore. So if you want to go back and review something you will have hard time searching for the topic you need.

When I lost 5 hearts, I had to wait a couple hours to continue my coding project. After I wait for that long, the progress was gone. I had to start over again since the beginning of the course not mid-way. Waste of time and double the effort. Please fix that.

The app has some good intentions but no longevity in terms of practicing and cultivating skills. In example for python, the basic approach is quite well made and promising at first but then there is no way to review them practice continuously on weak points. The number of application of the acquired knowledge to allow knowledge fixation is very limited and disappointing for the price. The ultimate practice past is non progressive and prompts immediately to code, and it’s also a poor amount of examples. In comparison, the number of features you get in Duolingo for the same price is insane. MIMO is a disappointing investment if you want to keep learning in-app. It’s only okay to get you started.

One problem with mimo is the lack of typing skill that you need to complete the course,in other words is like learn drawing or painting using photography as you main skill to capture your ideas(clicking instead of typing) another issue is always try to keep you to try to go to the next lesson without enough practice and strong base of each lesson,is not bad fora people who only want to have a superficial idea of coding better not to mention the certified…. I pay for this app.
