## MiPermit Description
Pay & Display car parks are part of everyday life, but one of the biggest inconvenience of using them is not having the correct money for the machine or having to return to your vehicle to extend your stay.

With MiPermit (at supported locations) you can pay for your parking without paying in cash or needing to display a physical ticket on your vehicle.  Plus, at selected locations, you can pay for your EV charging at the same time.

Today was the second time I’ve encountered a mi permit car park. Doesn’t even deserve 1 star. 
I don’t know why but no car parks came up again and I was unable to pay using the app again. 
The machines needed money, wouldn’t take phone and the phone number required a physical card my long number is not in my wallet. 
If a night in shining armour hadn’t given me 40p to have enough to pay in cash (I never carry any these days) I would have missed my granddaughters appointment. As it was we were very late. 
Very disappointed App either needs sorting or scrapping.

Despite putting stickers on the parking machines you don’t accept American Express. Charging “convenience” fee should be abolished, it’s not convenient to waste 10-20p. All parking operators must work with councils to allow to stop parking at any minute and charge customers actual amount (e.g. if I stop session after 17 minutes, I should pay for 17, not 30 mins).

Used the app to pay as per the instructions on the parking meter money was taken from my account and then once I paid it asked me to make an account to make it quicker next time which I did but the payment I made didn’t show up after that in the app. when I came back to my car before the time I had paid for had run out I had a parking ticket which I am now going to have to try and dispute. It didn’t give me an option for a receipt when the payment was successful only pay for a text reminder of when I needed to return to the car which I didn’t need as I knew what time I needed to be back. Not very impressed

It would be so convenient if I could change the visitor permit mid session when one visitor departs and another arrives without having to call MiPermit to have the vehicle registration number switched from one to another. It sometimes takes up to 10 minutes to do this. If I could tap on the registration number of the car which has departed, cancel it and change to the new one it would make things SO much simpler for all concerned.

I really like the app, especially the combination of pay and display and resident visitor permits.  Two opportunities for improvement:
1. When in an active pay and display session, I get two live activities screens on my Lock Screen. Can you reduce it to one please?
2. Also the live activities don’t render properly as a widget on the Apple Watch Smart Stack.  It would be great for the live activity to show properly there so you could see how much time is left on your parking at a glance on your watch.

Arrive 17.30 have to pay £2.50 until 1800 and then another £2.00 for all night. And you cannot extend the first parking charge but have to wait until 1800 to pay again!!

The app is good until you try and pay for parking. This is when the app tells you don’t have to register to pay, but you do. But you can’t register because you need an invoice number and email address from a previous booking through MIPermit. Which I don’t have because I have never parked with MIPermit before. I looked for a page on the app, and all it comes up with is you have to have an invoice number! I went on the web to see if I could register. No, you need an invoice number. Completely useless unless you have used it for parking before. Fix It!
