Beschreibung

Application with the Complete Roman Missal
An application featuring the complete Roman Missal in Latin, Spanish, English, Portuguese (Brazil), German, Italian, and French. You can choose two of these languages to obtain a complete bilingual missal.
IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION
This application was created solely to assist in following the Mass in Latin, including one of the possible translations into other languages. We acknowledge that these translations may not exactly match those heard in a Holy Mass celebrated in that language. Achieving perfect alignment would require, first, having access to all the updated versions approved by each Episcopal Conference, and second, an enormous amount of continuous work, which we are not in a position to undertake.
Therefore, we leave it to the users’ good judgment to understand any possible differences, especially when Latin is not used as the primary language.
The Missal can be followed in one language only, in two parallel columns, or by viewing the translation by tapping the text.
The different parts of the Mass are accessed through tabs, functioning similarly to the ribbons of a physical missal, remembering the previous position of each ribbon. This allows users to "prepare" the Mass they will follow without needing to navigate through links during the celebration.
The application also includes "memory positions," enabling users to save specific sections (e.g., selected readings) for quick access later.
A perpetual liturgical calendar is included, allowing users to see what is celebrated on the current day and to prepare directly for the Mass of a chosen day.
Given the extensive nature of this text, occasional typographical errors may be present. Users are encouraged to report any they may find.

How do I get to the English Version?

Why is the translation of the Scripture readings different from the USCCB approved Lectionary readings for the USA? Really like the app besides above comment. It takes several tries to learn how to navigate in this app.

These days the great mayority of people have smartphones. Every christian catholic should be having one of these on their phone to keep up and be fully aware of Mass like it should be. 😊😄 Often we recite prayers so commonly that they may lose a bit of their value, is good to know more of your Mass, our Solemn Celebration. Its the nearest, most vivid moment we have with Christ.

Best missal ever

But the layout & navigation are awful. They should have used the standard UI of iOS. Very confusing & inconsistent. Hope they change it.

Excellent App

It is great to have an app that contains the lectionary in Latin. One typo to bring to your attention: The Apostles Creed begins, " Credo in Deum," not "Credo in unum Deum," as is currently written.

I suppose it is ok.

Font is way too small. No options for changing or enlarging. Point 4 font is too difficult to read.

It's too confusing

It's a good app. The entire Roman Missale on your iPad. But there is no way to select an entire language at once, you have to individually click each paragraph, each section to change it's language. Then the minute you change the page and come back to it, you have to reclick it all over again. There should at least be a manual on how to use this app. I'm not a priest, I'm a practicing Catholic and this is a great app, but it could use some adjustments to make it easier.
