Mob: Meal Planner and Recipes

So much on advertising it as a meal prep app to be just a recipe app. Hard to search and filter. I couldn’t care less about the person who invented the recipe. You should add tags instead of the photo and name of the chef. There are 2 recipes that have “chicken” and “freezer” on it. So overall these are the issues I find: 1. you’re not really solving any problem with this app, searching a recipe on google or asking chat gpt is faster. 2. You don’t have enough recipes in your database. 3. You don’t have a specific user in mind. It’s cute, beautifully designed but useless and lacked discovery research

Needs the comments for recipes like the website does, the comments often provide helpful corrections to ingredients and weight, where mob have failed to proof before posting .

I don’t know why this app has been released yet when it doesn’t have basic functionality. I have a mob premium subscription but it doesn’t let me log in to it on the app. It also makes you log in when you first go on the app so should recognise that my account is a premium account at that point, not make me sign in again (especially when that doesn’t even work).

Was looking for one solution for meal inspiration (you have loads! 😋, along with the tools to quickly meal plan and create a shopping list, but I’ve not found your new planner on the app, is that right? Is it coming? 🙏

It’s a good start – but iPad is THE cooking device, not the phone. Please support the screen size!

Any reason why the app doesn’t open? See the mob home screen then nothing.

Love mob but the app is not the one - there’s no way to view comments and it’s not adapted to iPad which renders it useless to me

It’s like Mob decided to rip off the Cherrypick app, but strip it of all its functionality and slick design. Disappointing to say the least.

Could do with a “stay awake” function and easier scrolling through the steps while cooking like the BBC’s Good Food app

Having a look around the app looks easy enough to use. We’ve religiously cooked with mob’s meal plans through the website and it’s super buggy and getting to the recipe you are cooking can be painful. I’ve been looking forward to the new app but gutted to see that the meal plans aren’t included! I won’t be using the app until that’s rolled in.
