I really love Monzo, it became my account for salary. Pity that only 85,000 is covered by FCSC though.
Used MONZO when I was in London and it’s the best ! The app is fluid, ergonomic, client service quicker than it takes for Amazon Prime to deliver ! It’s not available outside the UK yet I still think to myself « I wish they had MONZO everywhere » when I’m using other banking apps. Well done 👏🏿
So I have used Monzo for several years with no issues whatsoever so ever loved their app. Until recently when my app was frozen couldn’t use the pots at all & I’ve had nothing but issues since. My account was deleted and I have tried opening a new account to no avail such a shame as I really loved using them but I just don’t think I’d trust them anymore now.
I have been with monzo for quite some time now but recently it’s making question weather they are good bank or not , on October 29 I had money go out of my while both me and this person were in different locations money was still spent on my card without them physically having my card monzo keep telling to do pointless reviews and complaints that are completely irrelevant as it don’t get me my money back I’m not happy customer at all
Can’t rate Monzo highly enough really. I really like the control it offers and almost makes personal finance interesting!

“Avoid This App at All Costs!” I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this app. My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Over two weeks ago, £2840 of my funds were taken and frozen by the app, and I have yet to receive any clear explanation or resolution. When I reached out for support, their responses were unhelpful and robotic, like this one: “Good afternoon Jackson 👋 Harper here, I can assure you that someone will be in touch as soon as they can with any updates. There is nothing that I can do to speed this process up for you, I’m sorry.” This is how they handle a serious issue involving my hard-earned money—they don’t know anything, and they can’t do anything! Their staff seems completely unqualified, untrained, and uninterested in resolving customer problems. If you’re considering using this app, think twice. The risk of losing your money and receiving such unprofessional support isn’t worth it. This tone is firm yet professional and gives enough context to alert others without being overly aggressive.
Always side with merchant had numerous payments come out which wasn’t suppose to have they even confirmed to me I had cancelled yet let the merchants keep trying to take payments and when they did was no help!!!! DONT BANK WITH MONZO!!!! And again same problem always side with the merchant ! Closed bank and never will use Monzo again only good thing is can call ya money early that’s only good thing about this bank will never tell anyone to bank with these
I have been using Monzo for as long as I can remember. it’s truly one of the best digital banks offering a blend of technology and high quality services.
They hold my money which 2 of my work friends sent me and asked for proof of conversations
