Mother Hen

Every second timer try to,open the app it is stuck in this useless Chart screen site. I never go there and the only way to use the app than is to shut down the iPad. And even then it won’t work half the time. What a waste of money!

I really like this app. It makes managing my small flock easy. The accounting part is great for tracking sales and expenses, although I have not found a way to actually edit expenses or delete a wrong entry. The only thing missing is a chart like flockplenty has. Otherwise I love this app, good work.

J’adore cette application, par contre il y a un bug quand on l’ouvre. Il faut l’ouvrir et la refermer pour avoir accès à toute les fonctionnalités.

First off I really enjoy this app - it’s really cheap and works well for the price point. A tutorial would be nice as some feature took me a second to figure out but overall easy to use. The only thing I have any issues with is my graph will only display roughly a week and a half or so and not the entire log of egg records. A small complaint but I’d love to be able to see the whole visualization of the graph from furthest back to current.

I loved this app up until my phone was destroyed and I lost all the data I had on my app over the past 3 years since there isn’t a log in for this app I’m guessing there is no way to save it

I love this app and have used it for years to track egg production. Lately Ive gotten more on top of adding finance day at here and it makes such a good analysis of egg production as an enterprise on my farm. If I had two wishes, they’d be: 1. To be able to have custom date ranges to view finances page so I can refer back to historical data. Ie a different year. 2. That the graph from the harvest screen would show over all time so I can once again scroll and compare data from different years or seasons. At least, I can export and make my own charts but I’d love if it was right there! Thank you for this app💖💖

Hello! I absolutely love the Mother Hen app. I’ve been using it for about 4 years now. There are a couple things I wish were a little different, would you ever entertain suggestions for an update? The first thought I had was to add a color wheel so you could pick your own color for eggs. The other thought off the top of my head was to have a crop option when uploading photos, because unless it’s the exact shape there are borders. Not a deal breaker, but for aesthetic reasons it would look better. Thank you for reading! Caryn @fivemilecreekfarm

Hi can I backup my data or sign in on other devices?

Love the simplicity of this app. Although I just got it and am still investigation it fully, my only “feedback” is that it would be awesome when you add multiple chicks to the flock if a pop up or something came up so I could fill in lineage and hatch dates for all at once, instead of individually. I recently added 12 chicks from the same lineage and with a one or two day difference on hatch - I could easily change the individual dates that weren’t in the main median date but having to go thru 12 individual records to add the same lineage is time consuming. Yes, first world problem. So far, I’m finding the app to be great tho!

Wish I could have seen the breed list before spending money… none of mine are on it!
