This is the nicest app for monochrome photography on the app store in my opinion, however it currently seems to have a bug where more than half the time when you press the shutter button it will not save a picture. So the app is currently useless.

Lots of cameras have a mono setting but its nice to have a separate app for it. When I want a monochrome shot I just choose this app. The live preview is great, you can adjust it to look exactly how you want it before you press the shutter. There's lots of settings to get your shot right. Regular camera users will instinctively know how it all works but the ui may be tricky for beginners. The help section will sort that out though. I had a few glitches when I installed it but a reboot of the phone sorted any snags. A must for any iphoneographers that shoot in b&w.

Crashes iPad Mini on taking picture, and randomly, negotiating menus. Works on iPad 3, but setup menu looks nothing like example in badly-written Help file, with features missing. Can't import files from camera roll and convert to black and white - of some interest as a B&W camera only, if that's all you want.

I looked everywhere and finally read about this app in some remote blog and just trusted my instincts to go for it. It is so sad that nobody reviewed such a fabulous app. For bw photography, this the only app you ever need. Why? Because it saves in tiff and then it does everything else a photographer needs.

I really like this app but the latest version simply won't open on my iPad 3. It crashes almost intantaneously.

It's perfect app for monochrome pic I have used so far. Would give 5 star but it crashes sometime.

The App does not save the picture with Iphone 14 Pro Max. The App do not use 48Mpixel resolution.

between shots it takes too long

Easy to use, no complex settings, yet all necessary functionalities available. The best b/w photo app that I ever used.
