My Aurora Forecast

A simple banner ad is pretty typical of free apps like this. Now you have to deal with full screen ads that have a delay before you have a chance to close them… if you can find the button to do so. What once was useable is now obnoxious. Good bye, My Aurora. I’ll just bookmark a website to do the same thing… something I find myself doing more and more these days.

How do I add another location I’m not sure if I can but I still love this app

The feature entitled Live Webcams is deceptive. These are still photos that update every two minutes, not live, as in real-time video.

Set notifications with kp index and you will always see the Aurora

This app is the BOMB! I had just visited my niece in Fairbanks, AK in Feb 2024 and downloaded this app for the trip. I never deleted it. To my surprise, I was at home in south Alabama in May 2024 and got an alert. On a whim I went outside to check for Aurora and was absolutely astonished to see AURORA BOREALIS in Dothan, AL. That was in May. Thanks to this active solar cycle, it happened again and once more I saw Aurora Borealis in Orange Beach, AL in October 2024. The app is fantastic...highly recommend!

We moved to Minnesota, and this app has made seeing this glorious wonder from the heavens a blessing. Tells you peak times, and gives you amble time of notification.

It wont show or tell me the area it will be seen!!!!!!
