Belangrijke opmerkingen
• De vernieuwde mydlink app biedt intelligentere, beter aanpasbare en intuïtievere home-automatisering, verbeterde gebruikservaring, verrijkte functies en verbeterde bruikbaarheid. We willen voor alle gebruikers een optimale ervaring garanderen en daarom zullen eerdere versies dan iOS 10.3.4 door de mydlink app niet meer worden ondersteund. Als u momenteel iOS-versie 10.3.4 of een eerdere versie gebruikt, raden we u aan om uw mobiele besturingssysteem zo snel mogelijk bij te werken. 
• Oudere D-Link-camera's (DCS-xxxL en DCS-xxxxL) kunnen nog steeds met de nieuwe mydlink-app worden gebruikt, maar geavanceerde functies zoals cloudopname en automatisering worden niet ondersteund. 
• De nieuwe mydlink-app biedt geen ondersteuning voor de mydlink™ Home-apparaten (DCS-935LH, DCS-8200LH, DSP-W110, DSP-W215, DCH-S150, DCH-S160, DCH-S220, DCH-G020, DCH-Z110, DCH-Z120).
• De nieuwe mydlink app ondersteunt de installatie en beheer van D-Link wifirouters niet. Volg de bijhorende instructies op de verpakking van de router en in de handleiding voor installatie en beheer van deze apparaten

Met de nieuwe mydlink-app verloopt smart home-bediening voortaan slimmer, eenvoudiger en compatibeler. U kunt eenvoudig bewakingscamera's in uw woning in realtime weergeven, waarschuwingen ontvangen, opnames maken bij detectie van beweging of geluid, toestellen in-/uitschakelen, schema's instellen en automatiseren. Dit allemaal vanaf uw smartphone of tablet.

De app is onvoorstelbaar traag. Als er iets gebeurt, is het al voorbij voor je contact hebt met je camera, omdat alles via de mydlink website
Loopt. Daarbij werkt het ook alleen op telefoons en tablets. Waarom geen app voor de computer?! Of net als vroeger, via het locale ip-adres de camera kunnen benaderen? Vroeger kon dat wel, maar nu ben je verplicht op je telefoon te kijken….postzegelformaat videotje kijken. ALS het al werkt, want je krijgt ook vaak te zien dat je internet te traag is om beeld te kunnen downloaden, ook als je gewoon thuis op Wifi zit.

The app is fine, for that 5 stars. I connected a power socket and a water detector to the app. Only one question: Which additional hardware sensors from dlink are available in stores and to be used with this particular app for detecting A) open doors/window, B) detecting motion? Important to note: dch-g022 is not for sale in entire Europe. And dch-g020 is not supported in the list of devices in this app. Also b112 and b122 door and motion sensors are not for sale on planet earth.

This is a seriously bad app. On the iPad two cameras cannot be accessed, on the third all I get is a black screen. All three cameras can be accessed via a windows browser, so it is not the cameras but the app that does not work. Cannot contact any helpdesk either. I bought the mydlink camera! It worked really well, easy to install, easy to use, for one day. The app is full of bugs and the cloud is down every 1 or 2 hours. In the Netherlands it is impossible to get support. Please don’t buy!

I have to say I’m very happy with the new version of the app. The user interface is way better and there are more options.  The old one was very buggy and limited in functionality.

I have some improvement points though:

* when configuring the proximity area (movement) it should be possible to see the camera display otherwise you Don’t know where to (de)activate the blocks 
* the app crashes when you want to display a recorded video in the cloud right away after the clip has been made 
* being able to detect persons (like ring)
* it would be nice if there was an extra condition in the automation of the camera to be able to let an action only run if people are walking inside or outside the area. For example: send a push notification when someone is in the proximity area and record a clip only when someone is outside of the proximity area.

When a motion or sound triggers a recording, it records for only 15 seconds, even when the motion continues. No difference between cloud or SD recording. Someone parks on our driveway, but the recording stops after 15 sec so we weren’t able to check who it was or their actions. Worthless! Please let us choose how long it should keep recording after a trigger!

I have two cameras I use daily. Since the update I only get the message I need to setup the camera using the baby monitor or lite app. Both of them have the cameras installed. Neither of them works great since half the time the app crashes when opening a camera.

Hopefully it is fixed soon, this way the cameras are useless.

De camera zelf is prima maar de app is echt waardeloos. Ik moet de app continu afsluiten en herstarten om een stream te bekijken, zowel op een iPhone 8 als iPhone X.
Bovendien duurt het laden van de stream ook nog eens lang.
