• The revamped mydlink app offers more intelligent, customizable, and intuitive smart home automation, as well as improved user experience, enriched features and increased usability. We want to ensure all users get optimal experience, in order to achieve this, the mydlink app will no longer support iOS versions below 10.3.4. If you are currently using iOS 10.3.4 or below we recommend you upgrade your mobile operating system as soon as possible. 
• Older D-Link cameras (DCS-xxxL and DCS-xxxxL) can still be used with the new mydlink app, but advanced functionality such as Cloud Recording and Automation will not be supported. 
• The new mydlink app does not support mydlink™ Home devices (DCS-935LH, DCS-8200LH, DSP-W110, DSP-W215, DCH-S150, DCH-S160, DCH-S220, DCH-G020, DCH-Z110, DCH-Z120).
• The new mydlink app does not support setup and control of D-Link Wi-Fi router devices. To install and control these devices, follow the accompanying instructions on the router packaging and manual

I was going to view my camera which I bought and installed 3 days ago but encountered “maximum user reached” and couldn’t view the camera scenes. 
So, The support asked me to change password and reinstall in order to troubleshoot further if it happens again.
There is no way to check whether there was a breach he said.
How can maximum user has reached when I am the only user and I didn’t share password. Besides, I am accessing via only one device.
What are the chances that I view at the same time as another user?

Tried to access both TAPO system and MyDlink and time and time again, TAPO connects at a faster speed. The MyDlink “spool/sprocket” keeps turning. Checked that it’s not a wifi problem. As the TAPO system just comes on without delay. Folks, if you have this problem try Arlo or TAPO. It’s newer tech, eclipsing the old standard, that seemed to have “stalled” or “hung” on to the past. Good system if you can wait for about 30 seconds to 2 minutes to access or try something that is accessible in 2-5 seconds.

Bought SD card for a large memory to store past recordings but the App will only allow you to view videos in the last 2 months. 

The dlink portal for web browser can view past videos BUT CANNOT download! Only the app allows you to download BUT WONT LET YOU ACCESS VIDEOS beyond the recent 2 months. 

This is so frustrating!

1) If I had know this has no slot for SD card, I would not have bought. Why should I pay for cloud? In the end, it becomes very expensive for such backward device. (Easy to set up.) In the market, so many cheap recording devices that can be used for years without payment. 2) Why does it making super loud beep or make funny noises fm my Handphone????? Seow right?  We were inside car fiddling with this app, my hp suddenly gave a loud sound, (device not with us) and my hubby had to do emergency brake.  He thought something happened to the car or we hit something.  We can die of heart attack!!!! 3) why must we always tap on the screen to watch? Eye4 most of the time don’t need us to tap on monitors. 4) useless alert videos, I watched its saved videos and the ones I wanted to watch always have cartwheels!!!  Those I don’t want to watch are there perfectly.  
Buy only when u have lots of hair and time to wait.  More for kids to monitor.

Really bad! When the iOS version was still 16.xx, the app can open if any video triggered or can see live view on demand. But now after iOS update to 17, cannot see the recorded video or live view!

After the app recommended I update the software/ firmware of my cameras they both became non-operational with a solid red light on the back. On contacting support I was told as the cameras are more than 1 year old there is nothing they can do to help. 

What an absolute customer support disaster taking the easy route to close a ticket rather than doing the right thing by your customer.

I had been paying for cloud recording subscription through the app. I guess I won’t need that any more.
