## MyHeritage Reviews in Neuseeland

### *---- "Terrible"
I don’t use my account at all and unfortunately forgot to cancel the subscription. I missed the email I got before getting charged and proceeded to get fully charged a large amount for annual fee with only 25% refunded which is a disappointing. It would have been nice to get a full refund especially being $520. Super disappointed and won’t be recommending to anyone or using again.
-- Nat_murf, 2026-08-18

### *---- "Keeps Crashing"
As soon as I try to open the app it immediately crashes. Have tried reinstalling it but it still crashes. I could not find anywhere to report a technical problem with the app.
-- Zeniwi, 2026-06-22

### *---- "App does not open"
See title
-- tmannz, 2026-06-21

### **--- "Can’t use app"
App has said to update which i did. And I opened app and it tells me to update., why can’t I use the app!!!! Can’t use the app. Need to update it, where is the new update app please.
-- Wen a, 2026-02-14

### *---- "SCAM!"
I bought a DNA kit about 2 months ago, little did I know they added a yearly subscription which I did NOT pay for. I only noticed when they took over $300 from my account. I called and put a ticket into customer service multiple times and they were very unhelpful and tried to offer me more products as they would not give me a refund at all. I did not have an account when I paid for the DNA kit and made one after to see the future result of the test and they kept implying that I had a subscription on there which was FALSE. They sent me an email telling me how to unsubscribe and when I went on the account no subscription was even on it.

BEWARE OF THIS SCAM.
-- Taintedsilhouette, 2025-03-06

### ***** "Connections"
Amazing making new connections with family and finding out where I’m from! It’s very touching and it’s helping me fill the void of not knowing where I’m from
-- Taaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay, 2025-01-21

### *---- "Scammy behaviour, avoid"
I have done their DNA test a while ago and recently bought another kit as a present for Xmas. Unbeknownst to me, this came with a free trial subscription which I didn’t want, which turned into a yearly subscription.

I only realised when I saw the credit card charge and cancelled it straight away and got in touch with support to ask a refund, who said there was nothing they could do and subsequently completely ignored my emails.

Stay away. Scammy behaviour.

### ***** "Whakapapa"
This has been an amazing tool to load whakapapa stored
