Desperately needs Google maps integration, I hate Apple Maps.

We seem to be reaching the point where apps have so many (mainly useless) features added that they become pain to use. I tried many apps like that before trying MyPlaces which turned out to be exactly what I needed. It’s simple to use, makes it easy to record interesting places so I don’t forget them and allows the information to be shared with my family. You can add notes and photos, in fact the only thing I miss is a URL field so I can save a link, and then just click on it later to open the relevant web site.

After a little shakey start, the guys fixed the problem, I now can create places we,ve visited with our dog and send to my wife who can then load onto her iPad “ my places”, so we don’t both have to create places we’ve visited with our dog on individual iPads. Keep up the good work

Great wee app! Sometimes crashes when publishing but never any data loss. I rate this a 4! Worth the money.

Good and user friendly with good and speedy attention from the creators. Would like to see iCloud function for back up

Just what I was looking for. It just needs the ability to view all places (from all groups) together on one map.

This is looking good so far. What would be great is: - The ability to see a map with my marked places on it. I am using the app to store favourite restaurants and cafes, and would like to know which ones are near me when I'm out. - The map image that is saved is too tightly zoomed. - I would rather have an image of the place in the group list, rather than an image of the map.

1) Can be sluggish on iPhone 3G with IOS 4.2 2) still cannot delete individual locations with a simple swipe 3) the snapshot it takes of your location is zoomed in far too much and needs to be zoomed out a little because it's too close to see at a glance exactly where you were at any given time. The zoom it uses as a snapshot needs to be user selectable. This app is great but has the potential to be brilliant with the tweaks mentioned above !!

This app would be great if it had more colors for pins so you can add more than five people.
