## myPRP Description
myPRP is used by patients to securely access images and reports of scans performed at a PRP Diagnostic Imaging practice. You may also request appointments through this app.

When your results are ready to view, you will receive an SMS message containing a link to a registration instructions page with an activation code. You will need to use this code to activate your account and set a password. You will be able to use your account to access to all future studies performed at any practice in the PRP Imaging network.

The 'Request an Appointment' feature allows you to organise a visit to one of our practices. Please enter details of the imaging required and upload a photo of the referral form filled out by your doctor. Our friendly staff will then contact you to organise and confirm the appointment.

Please Note: Your doctor will be able to access your images and report as soon as they are available. You should always return to your doctor to discuss your results.

Hi, I have used this app before to view results with no issues months ago but now when I open the app I get a black screen as soon as I open it. No options no nothing just a black screen I have tried to remove it and re open it but still the same issue, I have turned phone off and on and no change, as soon as I touch the app to open I get nothing but a black screen. Not very helpful anymore.

Need to upload request when making appointment? Can you upload image from your files or photos? NO, your only option is to take a photo with your camera. Really???

Need to login to your account? Good luck with that one, wait till it locks you out each time you try! 

Need to make an appointment? How about providing a list of available dates and times, a bit like booking a hotel does, much more efficient

### *---- "A slick novelty with little practical use for patients."
The app works well and have no complaints with it. What I do have an issue with is that PRP has a policy of holding the imaging report for a week after the scan is completed. 

I had an MRI midday on a Monday. The app displayed the images on the same day but had a message that said the report wouldn’t be ready until the next Monday. 

A day before seeing my GP, I called PRP to ask if the report was ready and if it had been sent to my doctor. I was told that the report had been completed on the Tuesday following the MRI and sent to my GP. When I asked why the report wasn’t published to this app, I was told that this was intentional to encourage patients to see their doctors after a scan. I was also told that patients often can’t understand the report results which causes concern with patients and PRP staff. Because the app didn’t display the imaging report in a timely manner, I had to take an additional trip to PRP Imaging to obtain a copy.

I find this policy to be condescending to patients and undermines the utility of this app. To remedy this issue, I suggest that PRP revise their policy so that reports commissioned by patients are made available as soon as they are available without delay. 

Until this app displays all of the information to the patient when it becomes available, this app will remain a slick novelty with little practical use for patients.

I originally wrote a very unfavorable review of this app, because I found it impossible to log in. I was contacted very quickly by PRP, the problem was fixed, and I have had no trouble since. It is very handy to be able to see test results with this app before a medical appointment, so that you can prepare questions ahead of time. Highly recommend the app for that. Hopefully the log in problem won’t occur again.
