What’s new at MyŠkoda? 
 
Calling all connected Škoda drivers! Great news — we have just released the latest version of the MyŠkoda app. So what can you expect to find after updating? Read on to discover the latest features. 
 
New homepage — key info at a glance! 
•	Find the most important info on the homepage. 
•	See your vehicle lock status, battery charging status and more with the widget feature. Timestamps show when such information was updated. 
 
Remote functions updates 
•	Manage climate control, unlock your car, and more. 
•	Create charging schedules, as easily as possible.  
 
Maintenance and servicing updates 
•	Save a phone call to your service partner — MyŠkoda shows the distance or time left to your next service inspection. 
•	Keep informed about the status of crucial parts such as the engine and brakes. 
•	If you need to contact or book an appointment with a service partner, you’ll find their details quickly and easily in MyŠkoda. 
 
Even more new whizzy features 
•	Join MyŠkoda Club, take driving challenges and become a greener driver. You’ll also get the latest updates from the world of Škoda. 
•	New trip planning features! When taking longer journeys, you can make them smoother and safer by adding rest stops for taking regular breaks. You can also include charging points too! 
•	Create digital vehicle certificates as a guaranteed record of your mileage and service history. 
•	If you are an Enyaq or Elroq driver, up to 4 family members or friends can log in to your car. You can also revoke their access from the app. 
 
The MyŠkoda app currently works with models with Škoda Connect. To see if this service is available in your car, enter your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) in the app. Or go to the availability list at www.skoda-auto.com/list

The basic app works fine as a information hub about the car. But it crashes regularly. 

And a couple of functions I really miss is:
- Ability to open and lock the car.

- turn on the lights just like when the keys are close to the car.

Jeg mangler dog nogen af funktionerne fra den gamle app. ‘Min Skoda’. F.eks et aktivt kort - dette kort kunne ideelt set også indeholde opladningsdteder så man ikke behøver andre apps for at finde en oplader (så som Clever eller PowerPas) og en tydeligere chat/kontaktfunktion. Der er også en tendens til forsinkelse i forhold til opladningsstatus. 
Bortset fra det er det en meget god app, som jeg bruger næsten dagligt!

Alt for ofte virker app-en ikke / får ikke forbindelse til bilen. Om det er bil eller app ved jeg ikke, men det er hamrende irriterende at man ingen mulighed har for at varme bilen op inden afgang på en kold morgen, når app-en ikke virker… Samme med den gamle version. Snart slut med Skoda!

Unfortunately the app is incredibly slow, crashes regularly and communication with the car takes often a minute or more. Simple functionality as opening and locking the car it’s not possible(enyaq 85 sportline, 2024)

It is a mystery why the Skoda company doesn’t make an app better than this.
