## myVW Description
Welcome to myVW, a drive-changing app with connected vehicle services enabled through myVW+. The myVW app enables access to essential tools for most model year 2020 or newer VW vehicles, including service scheduling, finding a preferred Volkswagen dealer, viewing service history⁵, and other owner resources. Plus, subscribe to connected vehicle services plans to get access to additional available features (depending on vehicle model and equipment), such as:

• Remote start your engine¹
• Start and stop EV battery charging²
• Remote lock or unlock your doors³
• Remote honk and flash²
• Remotely access climate control for EVs²
• Manage EV battery settings⁶
• View last parked location⁴
• Create vehicle alerts, including speed, curfew, valet and boundary alerts²
• View fuel or EV battery status⁶
• Vehicle health reports⁷
• DriveView⁸ scores 

Use of the myVW app requires acceptance of myVW Terms of Service. Connected vehicle services enabled through myVW+ are available on most MY20 and newer vehicles and require an included or paid subscription, some of which may have their own terms and conditions. Paid subscription is required to continue services after included plan expires. Visit the shop tab in the myVW mobile app to see how much time is remaining on your subscriptions. All connected vehicle services require the myVW app and myVW account, cellular connectivity, network compatible hardware, availability of vehicle GPS signal, and acceptance of myVW and myVW+ Terms of Service. Not all services and features are available on all vehicles and some features may require the most recent software update. Services depend on connection to and continued availability of 4G LTE cellular service, which is outside of Volkswagen’s control. Services are not guaranteed or warranted in the event of 4G LTE network shutdowns, obsolescence, or other unavailability of connectivity due to existing vehicle hardware or other factors. All services are subject to change, discontinuation, or cancellation without notice. Certain connected vehicle services may require additional payment for emergency or other third-party services rendered such as towing or ambulance transport services. Message and data rates may apply for app and web features. Connected vehicle services are not available on most MY20 Passat vehicles or rental fleet vehicles. See Terms of Service, Privacy Statement, and other important information at vw.com/connected. Always pay careful attention to the road and do not drive while distracted.

Just had to walk back across a very large campus because my app failed to unlock my car and I didn’t have my keys with me - I had luggage with me. Fabulous. Not the first time that this app is unable to complete its only function. Don’t rely on it to unlock or start your car.

I purchased my car in November 2024 and the Volkswagen app was not working until June 2025. I don’t know how many departments they had to escalated to. What a horrible user experience especially for a brand new vehicle. Secondly, I would like to make a recommendation for you to remove the pin code for auto start. Face ID or fingerprint is perfectly fine. Also, when you auto start your car from the app and you go into your vehicle and press the brake and the start button it shuts the vehicle off. There seems to be a bug and it needs to be updated. One last thing. When using Apple CarPlay, only my phone disconnects through my drive. However, when I am using my android phone, it does not disconnect. Another software bug.

Sometimes the app works most of the times it doesn’t. Very inconvenient and inconsistent. Nobody seems to know what’s going on.

It’s not consistent. Most of the time it’s working but sometimes have connection issues, giving errors, showing that doors unlocked. Maybe it’s not about the app, maybe the car itself looses internet connection. My car is 2024 Tiguan R line.

Love this app make everything so much easier I can turn my car on from anywhere. Also you know how much gas at all times and if you know something is wrong with your vehicle. Definitely worth the money!

### ***** "I love my ID4 AWD PRO S"
Purchased this 2022 ID4 from CARMAX in spotless condition with 40k on the mileage. I traded in a gas guzzling Toyota tundra special edition for 26k and walked out of CARMAX after paying just 20k for this amazing all electric vehicle. Perfect scenario, my wife drives a three row atlas VW and I don’t work outside of the home although I do drive our child to school, dr appts, extra curricular activities, and social activities. I also drive regularly to the grocery store as I do the majority of the cooking. I currently just trickle charge the vehicle from home overnight and that keeps me at 80% by morning which equates to 200 miles range which I never use, usually going down to roughly 60%. I park it outside here in Colorado so in the winter I have it set to start the heater each morning ten minutes before I have to leave with my child to take them to school. A feature we love! It also has heated seats, heated steering wheel, AND MASSAGE SEATS! I’m 6ft 2 and 250 pounds but this car is super spacious to the point where I actually don’t put my seat all the way back or all the way down for the first time in my life! I have all the known safety features known to man and at 66 years old, I’ll take all the backup help I can get! Crunching the numbers it cost me $11 to fully charge the vehicle to 350 mile range, and equivalent miles per gallon is about 90 mpg. The car turns off automatically when you put it in park and get out, unlocks automatically when you approach the car to get in and starts automatically when you are in park and step on the brakes. It drives like a corvette with the super high torque in sport mode or it’s more sluggish like an antique piston driven car when in grandad mode. I love it! Buy one!
