What is Namaz?
Namaz is the daily muslim prayer, also known as Salat or Salah. It is one of the five pillars of Islam and the best way of worshipping Allah the Almighty.
Description:
This app is an audio player for you to listen to the correct pronunciation of the prayers in Arabic. It will help you to learn the dua-invocations and parts of the Quran that are read inside the prayer. You will also have the texts in English transliteration and some illustrations to help you navigate through the process. All content is in accordance with the rules of the Hanafi school of law.
Important to understand, that this is a companion app, and it is not sufficient to fully learn the prayer on its own. We also strongly recommend that you learn to read Arabic, as English letters and phonemes are not sufficient to convey all sounds found in Arabic. Learning to read Arabic will allow you to perform your prayers in the best way and will give you access to the Holy Quran. The easiest and most effective way to learn both prayer and reading Arabic is to find a good teacher.

MashaAllah. I say saved my life because at a time of hardship I just wanted to pray and not have to do so much research and looking around to figure out if I’m doing things right or wrong. I didn’t want to get overwhelmed and anxious figuring things out. I just wanted to learn to pray. This app made everything so easy. It includes everything you need to know. I show this app to new muslims and reverts and it has helped soo much. I get random messages from people that I have shown this app to and thanked me for telling them about it, by the guidance of Allah I was blessed to come across this beautiful app. . This app has helped me so much! I can’t say how thankful I am. I am slowly getting comfortable to pray salah with the app!! The new changes are great too! (Prayer times, qibla, more duas, Quran verses) my only suggestion is if possible to add an option to switch to more then 2 surahs after al Fatiha.
Hold on tight to the rope which is the prayer.
Bismillah It doesn’t come lightly for a believer , especially a Muslim to begin to explain the importance of praying. More so praying the right way. Alhamdulillah, these people have done a terrific job of explaining the steps , but also made it intuitive and interactive. Pre-Prayer The conditions to meet the prayer, purification , the different types of prayers are very well explained in the learning section. During prayer The steps are listed with visual representation, and even if you aren’t fluent in reading Arabic , an English transliteration is provided along with a translation A set of short Verses are also given with the same help. So far any hurdles a person may face are addressed beautifully by this app. Post prayer The Dhikr and Dias of several kinds are provided One more thing. On top of all this, there is now a recording section where you can test yourself. 👌 So gain confidence and peace of heart by getting closer to your creator More which this app is a great means. May Allah reward you all.
