Stories 3-4 days old continue to show up. I get more recent stories on my free Apple News app. Altogether the technologically weakest app on my iPad. The only saving grace is that the content, when I am able to find and access it is good. At this point I would not renew my subscription with this app in place. And that is too bad because the content is good, if you actual get it to load and read. You click on an article then the never ending circle wheel starts up in the top left corner and good luck if the article ever loads. When it does you can’t scroll up. Then the app freezes altogether and you have to exit and try it all over again. And yes, I am paying subscriber but am having a horrendous user experience. They also recently updated the app and made it worse. Now it doesn’t support a landscape view. You have to turn your iPad 90° and read it in portrait mode. Plus there is a big delay in loading articles. I actually don’t know how a company (or why a company ) struggling to survive would take a mediocre app and turn it into a literally very poor app. It is definitely not worth the electrons it would take up on your iPad. Again, too bad because the content and writers are very good. Go ePaper instead. Even the.
