PS5 NBA App
No matter whether it’s live or watching a past game, there’s always a “something went wrong” message pop up on our tv and exits the app entirely. frustrates me and my dad because we can’t watch a full nba game without being interrupted and inconvenienced because the app crashes when we watch it on the PS5. Paid lots of money for league pass and most of the time doesn’t work, not to mention it keeps signing us out so we are always signing in when we click on the app and so it’s a ritual of signing in 30 minutes before the game starts because of buffering issues… please fix this
Consistently getting worse
First off, the video quality is very poor. I can easily stream in high definition from other platforms, but NBA is always buffering and quitting during important moments of the game. You get a better user experience from illegally streaming games than paying for league pass. In years gone by, during game breaks, you had access to the view of the in arena cameras and the jumbotron, so you could really feel like you were at the game. Now they just show a screen with “game break”, or give you un-skippable ads that you have to pay an extra $100 to remove. Then, most annoying of all - they have removed the ability to cast. The chrome cast button still shows, but instead of showing available devices, it asks you to enter a pin. You enter the pin and it does nothing. Why are they constantly doing everything to make their service worse? It is so frustrating. If it aint broke dont fix it. Oh and the customer service team does absolutely nothing to help resolve the issues. They take forever to respond, and when they do its just useless information copy pasted from a script. Do better NBA. If you want to appeal to the younger generation you need to fix your hopeless app. And that doesnt mean making it a garbage TikTok clone.
