Target the root cause

Many people spend years cutting out foods in an effort to calm their gut - a difficult path that can miss what’s really driving symptoms. In disorders of gut–brain interaction (DGBIs), the root cause is gut–brain hypersensitivity.

After a trigger like illness, antibiotics, or prolonged stress, the nerves in the gut can become over-reactive. Even once the gut tissue heals, the nervous system may keep the alarm turned up. Normal digestion, gas, or movement are then misread as danger - leading to pain, bloating, reflux, urgency, constipation, or diarrhea.

Diets and medications can reduce symptoms temporarily, but they don’t retrain this signaling system. That’s why symptoms often return or shift over time.

I’ve been trying Nerva for a week and I can see how much positive impact this program can have to my IBS symptoms. I don’t just feel relaxed after a hypnotherapy session but also my gut feels restarted and fresh, feel love to my body and feel how stress can leave my body and my mind for the day. 

I also love the readings that give you so much useful information about how to handle IBS and understand all it’s psychological effects.

I’d definitely recommend this program to everyone who’s being diagnosed IBS and want to improve their quality of living.

I have suffered with gastrointestinal problems for 25years and never found a treatment to help. I came across this app on the FODMAP Everyday website, tried the 2 week free trial and signed up for the whole 6 week course. The improvement to my IBS symptoms has been amazing and am now living with few or no symptoms (and I have never been even a week free of symptoms in 25years). I am continuing to use the maintenance plan because I find the hypnotherapy and breathing sessions soo relaxing and they are now a part of my everyday life. The app has completely surprised me because I am a scientist who worked in the pharmaceutical business for many years and very cynical about complementary medicine. BUT there is no miracle tablet to take for IBS… I have tried many and many a time just wished I could take a tablet, have my symptoms go and just get on with life. Soo I would 100% recommend this app! Worth every penny! Thank you☺️👏
