Lousy app
The apps VPN kept connecting even when turned off. The app prevented my phone from connecting to my watch. It’s sad that I am paying for this useless junk.
Incorrect scan results
This app keeps telling me the there is unrestricted access to my phone. And that to solve that issue I should setup a passcode, Touch ID or Face ID. I choose not to use either Touch ID or Face ID but do have a six digit passcode so I consider that scan result a BUG!
LANDSCAPE MODE
Clearly, nobody at Netgear has tested the app on landscape with a keyboard, even though Apple's entire iPad line is designed to work with Apple keyboards. How do you trust it's security when don't even catch something as simple as this? This is the only app that locks itself into portrait mode, so frustrating when since I use my iPad in landscape 95% of the time.
Not everything works
Started out good then all of a sudden the scam check for calendars and messaging won’t start and just freezes when I try and start it.
Good suite of protection tools.
The following critical review has been addressed via an update. Works as paid for now. August 2024 “update” removed NETGEAR Armor by Bitdefender premium VPN access. Limited to 200mb of VPN data now, from unlimited. Refund requested.
Poorly managed Login and Password Reset
If login password or email has a typo, app goes to Dead End with no resolution - stuck at screen. Poor design. Password change verification code contains undistinguished letters, capital I (i) vs lower case l (L), for example. Again poor design. Poorly managed app designs.

Why doesn’t this work with your premium VPN service? Why doesn’t a scan acknowledge that I have a passcode already set up on my phone? Please fix this. Also, please re-enable dark mode.
Safe and good to use!
Keeps you safe from websites scamming websites execute and scripts etc… Checks your phone and everything in the matter of like 10 seconds! Literally #1 best app recommended to use and good to use Here’s my reasons why you should get it! Doesn’t spam messages, like I said, checks your phone 10 seconds if you need and you feel like you’re not safe from the internet, Blocks you from scamming websites! Why I chose 5 reviews is because of that NETGEAR you should keep it up!
