Firmware version not updating
Stuck at v1.4.1.44. This app keeps on prompting me to update my router’s firmware, but it doesn’t work.

App not accepting admin password
After the latest update, the app is not accepting my admin password (i can login via browser) rendering the app useless. Have tried to reinstall but no luck. I am using an iphone.
The last update corrupted my firmware
My nighthawk router broke during the last firmware upgrade. Its now totally useless.
Enable the damn Parental Controls Feature!
I’ve initially set some Parental Control bypass logins on a few of my devices using the old Genie app. Now I can’t change the bypass logins on those devices ever since NETGEAR has decided to force everyone to use this horribly useless app! Bring back the old Genie app, if you can’t make a decent replacement for it!
Easy setup
The setup of the device was super easy. I just follow the prompts and was online without any issues!
Best Setup
This is the easiest set up ever… And I am nowhere near technical!
Net gear Router
Great App. Super easy set up. Wi-Fi speed over 400 with Spectrum. Buy this and you will not be disappointed.
Not great
Not a lot of functionality. Speed test does not work, fails every time.
Worthless notifications
Can’t turn off the stupid worthless notifications. Disabled all and won’t buy the advanced package because of this
Time zone issue
I travel quite often. The router is syncing time with the app and is not smart enough to stay in one timezone.
