Netro is a cloud based watering system that is designed for effortless use in residential irrigation. It helps to reduce unnecessary water usage and keeps your garden healthy. 

Netro creates dynamic watering schedules by analyzing your local weather and estimating the rain amount. The Netro app shows the key factors for a healthy garden so you know exactly how your garden is doing. It also provides a convenient schedule manager through which you can adjust your watering preferences and Netro will optimally adjust the schedule for you.

With the Netro app, you can monitor and control your sprinklers from anywhere.

You can purchase the smart watering controller (Netro Sprite), the smart hose faucet timer(Netro Pixie) and the smart plant sensor (Netro Whisperer) at Netrohome.com or Amazon.com

The redesigned delay function is still confusing. Instead of adding a box to select “including today” or the number of days, why not just choose the number of programmed watering cycles to delay, up to 30. This makes it clear and easy for those who have shorter watering cycles but have programmed to water two or more times daily.

The Scheduling section under Preferences is pointless, why not just incorporate everything under Programs, as this seem to handle most of the user’s setting for watering? Having both of these also can cause confusion and creates a poorer experience (an experience which iOS users typically don’t deal with)

I’m at a 3, this will be a review putting this to use as a human spray mister operation to keep our guest cool in 2023 Weather.

One the unit comes in I’ll see if it can be programmed to go on and off ever 10 min or so while when needed.  Pretty simple I’d think

I have used the system for more than four years and it works flawless. Once setup, smart feature works as.expected, rarely check every year.

Love the powerful and smooth app. It suppprts various weather provider, I select the the closet PWS, very accurate. It support many smart mode, the new plant is great for new grass, update to regular mode later. Rain delay is super cool too.

### **--- "Terrible Software- Worst UX Ever"
I’ve been using an IoT watering device for years- one key advantage SHOULD be intuitive setup and use.  In this case, as Mick Jagger sang, “honey, it’s not one of those.”  The company that made my original IoT controller apparently went out of business, and suddenly there was a monthly charge for remote access (another key feature).  I wish I had picked a different device to replace it, maybe the software would have been less bad than this.

If you don’t speak Chinese and don’t want to learn how, don’t buy this horribly supported sprinkler system.  I used to love it, but I can no longer contact anyone and I can’t understand their manual.  

Whose password is whose? For what?  What location is what? 

 Too much confusion, I will probably buy a different system!

You can’t delete the app and start over!  It is a very odd system now!

I have used the Netro sprinkler system for couple years and it seems like pretty nice product, however the story changed after they launched the new app, the new app design is awful and not user friendly, you can’t tell which sprinkler head is working and can’t even stop it running, the new app makes the product very hard to use. I’m very disappointed, I want the old feature back, or have to switch to another smart sprinkler system, so far, not recommending anyone to use it.

Pictures in the preview on this app page weren’t updated to more accurately show what the new “redesigned” home page would look like after this latest update. Had they been I wouldn’t have updated the app. Not a fan of moving the manual watering selection to a different screen away from each of the individual sprinklers and while it’s running it doesn’t show that on the Home Screen like the old layout is unhelpful. Also there seem to be bugs when moving between screens as moving off and then back over to the new badly redesigned Home Screen it won’t go back to the top and I have to keep closing the app and reopening. I also preferred the circle to show % each section had not the skinny like bar at the bottom replaced by a large image of grass? Really.

Edit: I haven't experienced a crash in many months now, but I also don't really have to maintain the system at all so I barely use the app. Everything works!

Overall the app has been working well. I've experienced a few crashes, but they all happened when I was renaming zones.

Everything has been great otherwise. This is far superior to the sprinkler controller I had on the wall before.
