Compete in GPs, Elimination Races, Time Trials, Checkpoint Races, and one-on-one Rival Races. No matter what I try I didn’t work I tried downloading it again but it only showed New star GP honestly I think the devs should fix this because it’s really annoying to not play such a good game based on the reviews.

Combines great low-poly graphics, 18 tracks with two layouts each, several gamemodes and great driving physics (although sometimes tricky, particularly later eras). The driving is very well executed, though at times frustrating because collision physics are an oddball. Pit mechanic is excellent, though would’ve preferred to be able to service parts earlier (annoying on long races and 1-stop strategy when the gearbox/brakes degrade on start of lap 6). The other part of the game - team management, team perks, interviews - also great, makes you put in a lot of thought into what you say because it will have an effect in the races. Managing happiness through the response selected in an interview is actually more interesting than I thought it would be. Overall game is basically a late 90s F1 racer in a modern package.

Honestly the game is great it is fun and interactive. But one thing drags it down completely, the absolutely brain dead AI for the other racers. They will just ram me off the track and keep going down a straight with no damage at all and they seem to have a 2 million dollar hit on my head.

I have loved playing this game, which really does what it sets out to do (being a retro style formu… sorry, non de script racing game). I love some of the smaller details like the driver names, and how some circuits layouts change year to year. Having said that, the racing AI needs some improvement. Whenever you try to overtake, they pull directly in front of you, causing some annoying collisions. For one or two drivers, who you might have a bad relationship with, this is fine, but some should definitely be less aggressive. I’d also like to see them be faster. The game comes down to overtakes in the first few laps, and then driving off into the distance for the remainder. I’d like to see them actually fight for position, and be able to overtake (this would probably need a change in the qualifying format as well, which is to say, not start at the back the entire time). Otherwise, a really good quality game, especially given it’s free.
