At self service checkout the system gives option to scan the Clubcard, if using the digital version it will not accept resulting in lost New World $.

I love the app but a recent update has meant that the ‘turn on notifications’ pop up message is really obnoxious and doesn’t scroll so I can’t see any buttons to move forward. I can’t close the window to access the app. I have an iPhone SE. Disappointing. Hopefully another quick update will patch up this bug.

I’ve used this app for years without incident. 
Updated a few days ago and have a notifications notice over it that has no button to ‘allow’ notifications and won’t move out of the way to let me use the club card. 
The stores tell me it’s happening to other people. 
I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling but the same thing happens. 
This needs urgent attention, so we can use our club card ASAP

in the latest update there is a “pop up” asking me to enable notifications. not only is it irritating. it doesn’t scale down to fit my iphone 14 screen size so I can’t get rid of it and use the app to do my shopping. 

My daughter logged in to my account from her larger screened phone and clicked “no” and that was fine. However, when I log in to it on my ohone the pop up appears again and I can’t get rid of it. So the app is useless at this current time. I use the app twice weekly to shop so this is beyond an inconvenience.

Why is it that something that should be easy to find - the different departments of a supermarket - has more become impossible to locate? Specials? Easy. What you bought before? Sure. Your previous lists? No problem. But being able to go into the frozens or fruit & veg is now not an option. You must search for every item separately or trawl through specials. 

Surely there is still a way to shop department by department? 😔

I’m never one to go out of my way to write negative feedback but this is probably one of the worst apples I’ve had experience with to-date. On countless occasions, I have received error screens where I’m asked to try again or relaunch the app. After doing so NUMEROUS times the same error appears and persists even after I’ve deleted and redownloaded the app. Additionally, once I eventually get it to work, it logs me out and requests I log in again AND when I attempt to it throws back an error. As someone who is a loyal New World shopper, this is such a pain point when I’m at the check out and it just won’t work so I’m unable to scan my card. I’ve contacted New World via phone and email a ridiculous amount of times going back and forth and quite frankly, staff are absolutely  useless. As someone who works in technology within the mobile app space, please fix this, for good.
