Until I actually got to play it. All voices (EN) are terrible. They somehow pitched all the voices up super high, making all the characters I loved and adored like chipmunks. Beautiful made game with personal stories per character as an option. But… when you want to succeed with a team of female (manufactured) soldiers reclaiming the surface of the Earth from mechanical invaders, you need to buy a chance to get them on your team. That costs 3000 gems per 10 times a try! That equals €59,99/$63,32 for a 2.0000% probability chance of winning the character instead of the probability chance of 0.0500%. On YouTube this “Gacha” system has been debunked to show that with 200 paid tries the presented character could still not be obtained. The Liberation mini game gives you 3 characters for free but they are to weak to use in combat, it takes 6 months to get them all (2 months apart or to 1 month if you spend cash). The game will close itself sometimes when the fighting begins. Especially boss fights, this persistent bug is left unfixed even after many complaints. It makes daily tasks impossible to complete. The characters clothing are censored to make the game available to Chinese players. They even censor the word "Christmas" which was changed to "Chrismas" during a special event. The main character isn’t a self-insert and cam be quite goofy. The music is solid, varying from house and lounge to hard rock. The gacha feels tough, I haven’t been able to pull any of the characters I wanted. The gameplay is nice, but feels simplistic. Team design is core; what happens in battle can often be auto-played. This makes for a chill gaming experience if that is your fancy. As for the art, it’s well drawn but sometimes it is too exaggerated for my tastes. I hope they rerun the Chainsaw Man event.
