Noir - Dark Mode for Safari

Noir works perfectly. No more blinding white websites when reading in a dark room.

Works like a charm, you just have to download it and once adjust it for your convenience and forget about it! Still, you remember how grateful you are when your cellphone isn’t “flashlight” while reading at night in the bed with your spouse sleeping 💤😂

I really advocated for a super black mode to save battery and the developer was great to offer it but unfortunately I've recently found that dark mode causes eye strain in me due to my astigmatism. But I also want to cut out blue light and save battery. I'm glad that the developer keeps adding new themes so that people like me with various eye conditions can find a theme that take works for our condition. I find that the Daracula theme really is the best for my condition as the ghosting is less. I can't wait to also get this for my new Macbook Pro M1. It has really become a great visual accessibility app for me

Fantastic app that does exactly what I need and also syncs preferences between iOS devices and MacOS

No bugs from what I can see. Images with white backgrounds in some websites but I think that can only be fixed by that website’s web developer not the app itself.

I went and bought this since I wanted a dark mode option for the sites that don’t offer it, I saw that the developer frequently reply’s to comments and that gave me confidence to make the purchase. I like the features, the customizable options, seems like a good purchase.

Safari warns that this extension can see sensitive information. “This website will be able to Read and alter webpages and see your browsing history on this website. This could include sensitive information including passwords, phone numbers, and credit cards.” They probably make extra $ selling browsing data.

It’s a great app but it will randomly refresh some websites I’ll be on, like Reddit. It always randomly refreshes the page everytime I go to another Reddit thread. That bug is very annoying but besides that, this app is great. Would be a 5/5 rating if it wasn’t for that very annoying bug. Thank you.

I’ve been a Noir user for a long time. Sadly, this weird issue has never been corrected. It doesn’t seem to affect everyone, but there are numerous others who’ve experienced this, too - noir somehow makes pages glitch and glitch and glitch until the site simply breaks. It’s literally been months of this, and until whatever causes this is fixed, I’m done.
