If you do any reading of websites at night… like, I don’t know, everyone? Then you need this app to tame the brightness of all those websites where the designers can’t be bothered doing a dark mode. Even Wikipedia can’t get its act together. It’s not perfect - occasionally websites get confused about their colors, and some times the whole page doesn’t render dark. But that’s because this safari extension is trying to do a very tricky job, and it keeps on improving, so it’s the best you can expect. Thanks for this app.

If you enjoy dark mode to save your eyes, then having websites also bend to your will and display dark is a must have right? Using this fantastic app you can do it! I’ve been enjoying this app for six months now and had quickly forgotten how amazing it was until I used an iPhone which didn’t have it. Don’t upset your eyes, buy this now and you too can give your eyes a well deserved rest!

Love the app, but recently when the app is enabled in safari, images will be in negative colours in white. Even with dim images turned off, the issue is still there. Only when the app is disabled do the colours of images go back to normal.

From when Dark Mode was added I have loved it, but have always had a bit of a problem with Safari. When your going through your iPhone or iPad and you open up Safari and search in something and all that light just hits you, and wakes you right up. It’s just down right annoying! This app does exactly what it says and its superb. 10/10 Recommended!

Been waiting for a dark reader extension for iOS. Has worked for all the websites I use so far

I went and bought this since I wanted a dark mode option for the sites that don’t offer it, I saw that the developer frequently reply’s to comments and that gave me confidence to make the purchase. I like the features, the customizable options, seems like a good purchase.

Safari warns that this extension can see sensitive information. “This website will be able to Read and alter webpages and see your browsing history on this website. This could include sensitive information including passwords, phone numbers, and credit cards.” They probably make extra $ selling browsing data.

It’s a great app but it will randomly refresh some websites I’ll be on, like Reddit. It always randomly refreshes the page everytime I go to another Reddit thread. That bug is very annoying but besides that, this app is great. Would be a 5/5 rating if it wasn’t for that very annoying bug. Thank you.

I’ve been a Noir user for a long time. Sadly, this weird issue has never been corrected. It doesn’t seem to affect everyone, but there are numerous others who’ve experienced this, too - noir somehow makes pages glitch and glitch and glitch until the site simply breaks. It’s literally been months of this, and until whatever causes this is fixed, I’m done.
