Two things: 1: app sticks and will not advance to the next day with all progress icons! I have to delete the app and start over again. 2: I weigh all my food in Grams. Need an algorithm that defaults to most used method of calculating calories. It’s very time and labour intensive having to set method every time I log a food!
The Facebook advertising I originally signed up for was free for six months. Then once downloaded it was $1 for two weeks with an $82 charge for the year. The next day I got an email telling me it would cost me $222 for the year. I unfortunately have to cancel before they decide it’s $500 tomorrow. I am really disappointed that the advertising is so false and this company cannot be trusted.
I’ve been on Noom for about a year. I reached my goal weight in 4months! They taught me how to portion control my food. I learned healthier food swaps. Learned it’s ok to indulge :). They have an amazing support system of bots, nutritionists and group chats for other Noomers to help each other out. Plus all the education around unhealthy eating habits helped me understand my relationship with food! I’m in a much healthier happier place.
Too many incorrect calories and colours
Beware - the company lacks transparency and notification that you’re subscribed and you may be charged a hefty cost every 6 months.
I downloaded for the free trial, and was pretty committed to it, but it got pretty old really fast. Its basic common sense. I deleted the app. then a week later i was charged over $200 for a years service. Tried to contact person after person, and i couldn't get a refund. All they could do was cancel my subscription so i wouldn't get charged in a years time. I re download the app, and tried to to be on board- but the "lessons" are terrible. Basic common sense. i would rather my money back to pay for a gym membership.
I have been on Noom twice and while I appreciate the program in theory the billing process is deceptive at best. I was recently sent two renewal emails one normal for $135 6mo and one Premium $83 6mo. When I accepted the Premium I was billed for both and the billing dept then explained they are two separate charges and refused to refund the second charge. No wonder they don’t use Apple Pay - because you will very likely be double billed and not know unless you catch it. How many people has Noom scammed like this??
I love the Noom program but their app is terrible. We are all complaining about it in the Noom Community. Every day something else is not working.
Charged my credit card but my account “doesn’t exist” so I can’t stop the payment!
