Notability: Notes, PDF

L’application a fortement été améliorée depuis que j’ai commencé a l’utiliser, il y a 4 ans. Toutefois il manque une fonctionne qui changerait la donne: la possibilité de récupérer dans word les textes convertis a partir de notes manuscrites

As a long-time user of Notability, I’ve been generally pleased with its functionality and ease of use. However, the shift from a one-time purchase model to a subscription-based model, which happened a while ago, has been a source of frustration for many long-term users like myself. When I originally purchased Notability, I was under the impression that the one-time fee would provide access to all the core features, with future updates included. For years, I felt like I got great value from the app. But with the transition to the subscription model, it seems like those who supported the app in its early days are now in an uncomfortable position. While it’s true that classic users still retain access to the features they originally purchased, the shift to subscription means that new features are now locked behind a recurring paywall. This feels especially frustrating because the app’s transition to subscription was not something users were given a clear heads-up about when they originally made their one-time purchase. I understand that companies need to adapt to stay competitive, but the change feels unfair to long-time users who’ve already invested in the app. For those who haven’t yet subscribed or purchased the app, the subscription model may not seem as harsh, but for classic users who have been loyal to Notability, it’s disheartening to see the value of a one-time purchase diminish in favor of ongoing costs.

Ok so I pay for this app no problem. However, I can’t see the size of each document. Come on guys! Do better.

Got this in first year university for online school during COVID. Loved it at the time. Now it’s just gotten so bad. Ever since they switched from the purchase model to the subscription the app has genuinely gone downhill, and I don’t understand why. Also, those who bought it don’t even get the subscription for free, which is insane. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Unfortunately they didn’t listen to that, and broke the app. Bugs are so much worse now. iCloud storage compatibility is brutal. And the app has just become significantly slower. What a downfall from grace. Do yourself a favour and stay away, it sucks.

This is literally the best App for students especially for college/university students. This app is a game changer for anyone who has vast contents in their program. 100 stars!

I love notability. The only problem I have is that I cannot sort my notes manually which is so annoying. There are only two options for sorting which are automatically. I want to sort my notes manually so that I can remember easily which is after which regardless of their name or date created.

I payed for this app a while back when it was a one time purchase, however now that it’s a monthly subscription, you need to pay again to use the full app, even if I already payed. LOL. Would not recommend, nothing useful has been added since I bought the app over 6 years ago. Goodnotes 6 is cheaper and offers more features than this app ever did.

From time to time I prefer to take notes while reading or reviewing study materials. Even though I am not required to do so, it is a pleasure to keep track of readings progressively.

I love this app, i use it everyday in school. But there is some problems/ features that can be better - when u use text, it doesnt correct the vocabulary, it leaves it unprofessional - the quiz option only works for english users ( no french ) - sometimes, it diconnects from my notability account without permission and only leaves the google drive account - not much pen options or stickers compared to goodnotes (i still prefer notability) - when u export a pdf in notability it always says “impossible to read the note” and doesnt open it automatily

This is a great app, a nice version of digital paper. However, it now bothers me like crazy to upgrade to their subscription model. No I don’t want to upgrade, I paid for the app already, leave me alone and let me write!
