I have an account under my business email and yet this app requires me to sign in using Google even after I logged in with my work email address. I’ll just continue using the message functionality within the Notion app.

I’m completely integrated in the Notion system so I’m really excited about this. I hope you all integrate with Microsoft soon. I wish there was a way to train the AI to do better sorting. If something ends up in the wrong category, there’s no way for me to move it. And why are all of my different inboxes divided up? Why can’t I have categories that apply to all of them?

I love the notion feel inside my email, but until I can see all the inbox emails from all 3 of my email addresses at once like the Gmail iOS app, I find this too inconvenient to use. Hopefully this will be addressed in a future update.

I love Notion. I’ve used Notion mail on my Mac since it was released. But this iOS app doesn’t work. Despite participating in the beta, and providing detailed feedback, for whatever reason, my inbox simply refuses to load, rendering g the app useless. There has been zero attempt to fix the issue - simply a we’ll send this to our team. Sorry Notion, this one’s a fail for me.

So far it’s great! Though, I do have 3 suggestions that might make the app better:

1. If I could connect more than one email without having to connect another Notion account, that would be nice. I wanted to connect my work/school email & my personal email, but I don’t have a separate Notion account for work/school. I just use the same Notion account for everything to keep things simple.

2. I did notice that my labels that were nested inside each other (imported from Gmail) were not nested anymore. I don’t know if that makes sense so for example; I had a label named “Companies” and the label nested under it was “Google” when it was in Gmail. Notion changed it where instead of being nested, it is now “Companies/Google”. That’s fine, except I would like it better if there was a way to nest labels inside each other (into categories and subcategories like Gmail has), so that I could micro-organize because I like to do that lol.

3. I noticed in the pictures for Notion mail on the app store showed that in the menu there are views for certain labels. I didn’t find this feature anywhere and there aren’t any settings or anything that I can find that would add this feature. I don’t know if I just missed it or if it’s something Notion is planning to add, but I’d like to have that. Especially with the special icons, that looked so cool in the pictures!

But it is super great to have my mail organized, and usually it’s hard for me to organize my emails in gmail, but Notion mail makes it simple and fun! I also love that it’s connected to my Notion stuff and I can easily turn emails into tasks, etc.

I’m excited to see all the new features that are added to the app as they get more feedback and stuff!

In a mobile email app, you have to be able to navigate from one email to the next or previous without returning to the inbox. That’s the most important feature for me, so will keep checking back for this feature because I want to use this app.

I love that Notion Mail has finally arrived for iOS but this was not ready to leave beta testing in my opinion. I have at least one issue every single day that I use the app, whether it’s new emails refusing to load, emails displaying blank pages, or the view function not displaying emails with a certain label. I’m constantly having to restart the app or wait a few minutes and then come back. I’d like to be able to delete the Gmail app on my phone but I can’t rely on this app to reliably deliver my emails.

It’s an incredible start, a very smooth and aesthetically pleasing app however, if you add multiple accounts, there’s no unified inbox.

This app is nice and clean but lacks some features that make a good mail app. A unified inbox is one. There also seems to be a much reduced feature set compared to the desktop app, I hope they add feature parity soon and add features most other email apps have. 

I’ve also noticed this cannot be set as the default mail app.

I don’t think people realize what’s happening here… Notion Mail is that app. It’s early, it’s raw, but the vision is massive. The idea that my email can finally live in the same universe as my tasks, notes, and projects — all inside Notion — is game-changing.

It’s not perfect yet, but honestly that’s the fun part. You can feel where this is going. If they keep pushing, this could end up being one of those apps we look back on in a year and say, “wow, I was there when it first launched.”

As someone who runs everything in Notion, I can say this: the potential here is off the charts. Don’t sleep on it. 🚀
