Nova Island

This game may be one of the best card games I have ever played and that says a lot since card games are the best games for me. The only proplem for me is the balancing… I don’t think you thought about the cards before putting them in the game, for me I mostly play magic decks as they can destroy everyone WAY TO EASYILY. Does it seem fair that I can have a 5 cost card on on turn 2? Not at all and card like double trouble are also very insane because all the superpowers are ‘resonable’ overpowered so having 2 can change the game ALOT. But I see this as a small bump on the road for a fantastic game. Sorry for my bad spelling

Been playing this on and off for like a year now, really solid strategy game with easy to learn mechanics. Characters and overall art design is really cute and fun, different to a majority of card games I’ve played that stick to a fantasy theme. Not at all pay to win, you know when and how you’ll unlock which new cards or decks/heroes, no random ‘booster pack’ mechanics which generally just force you to spend tonnes of money to get any good cards. Unlocked cards are purchased with in-game currency (which can be earned or purchased with real money), but I’ve always been able afford cards I want just by using the currency I’ve earned whilst playing. If you were wanting to buy every single card in the game it might be harder without spending money, but I imagine that’s not common. Although cards are themed and made to work with specific decks/heroes, you can use any cards with any other hero/deck, which means you aren’t having to buy separate cards or starting over with weak cards if you want to try different or new deck types. I really like this aspect, as it allows you to mix and match different play styles (I.e a more aggressive card set from one deck in combo with the powers from a more health/support/buff style hero). They do offer skins for the character cards, which use in-game currency and can either be bought from a random daily selection or loot box style random skins, but I think that’s a great way to support a game like this without impacting any of the actual gameplay.

Whenever I load into the game it go’s of within 20 to 30 seconds all I wanna do is play it same as the guy next to me.I thought this game was gonna be amazing but until it’s fixed I’ll have to wait respond if your awesome

Completely free to play. No pay to win! All four playable characters and most cards can be unlocked fairly quickly. The quality of this game, animations, character design and audio are top notch. +5 from me. Highly recommend if you enjoy strategic pvp, deck builder games.

Basically just what the title says. I can’t play the game since it crashes as it’s loading in. I don’t have much of an impression of the game right now (you know why), so I can only rate it 3 for now

I've been playing Nova Island since the start, and it just keeps getting better and better! There's no longer "too much rng" after the energizing update in Jan 2024 which allows strategically taking advantage of the board setup, and in April the 1.0 release brought a ton of new content and progression, filling out the delightful characters and world of the Island. The core of what I love about the game has been the same from the start - the engaging gameplay with lots of exciting moments and strategic back-and-forth, the supremely charming colorful world and incredible music, the adorable animations bringing the characters and creatures to life. It’s clear the game was made with love and playing it never fails to make me happy. I enjoy card games, but I don't like to stress about them, and I find Nova Island's gameplay is very accessible and fun to jump into, while also having plenty of strategic depth to dig into. The way you interact with the board and your opponent changes in interesting ways as you get new cards, and pros' superpowers make each game feel different and exciting. The other games modes like Turbo Draft and Central Circuit are their own fun challenge, too. There's a reason I've been playing Nova Island for years and telling everyone to try it, and recent updates have just made me love it more! I can't wait to see how it grows.

Absolutely love this game! The gameplay is fun and fast with fantastically cute characters that give this game so much unique character! It’s also free to play without all the annoying ads that usually come with that. Such a fun deck building game with great strategy and cute characters! Also the music is great!

Dan Perper’s creative genius at it again. This app is one of the only games I will use cloud space on. Can’t wait for more updates soon!

Can you Guys as customisable characters or at least more characters!!!!!
