I’ve been with Newcastle permanent for yearssssss but the app so horrible and so glitchy and if you leave the app for a second you need to reload everything and restart, I’m sick of it so I’m changing banks with a better app.

Good app but I wish payments were via Osko by default. I keep selecting the ‘pay anyone’ option by mistake. With my other bank there isn’t a separate option to select Osko - it just does it automatically.

Keep up the great work you’re doing on the app. Looking forward to seeing push notifications become available soon. 

It would be awesome to have the ability to see your card number and dynamic CCV within the app so you can use your digital card whilst whilst waiting for the new card to arrive in the mail or if you’ve had to stop your card due to a disputed transaction and replace your card. It’s use is limited currently when you can only open an account digitally and use the card in person or Apple Pay. Most of my transactions are made online. 

Additionally it would be great to have in app messaging and authentication to your call centre initiated via the app like all of the Big 4. 

Lastly I’d love to see the ability to dispute a transaction by merely clicking on the transaction from within the app instead of going via the app to the NPBS website.

Hi I just tried signing into my account and when it finally signed in which was 2 hours later on mobile data I then tried to transfer some money from one of my accounts to another account but it didn’t transfer please help with this issue thank you

Lately the app has been buggy, both on iPad and iPhone. It often hangs when logging in. It has also been slow often. Today it has refused to open a new Everyday account.
Thanks for reply developers. I was able to open the account on my iPhone by not using wifi.  Just updated to new version on iPad, and looks like it is working better on wifi now. Will keep testing and if there is any consistent issues, will update my review with symptoms.  👍🙏

I just moved from anz ( due to going cashless / less atms / being big 4 ect ) 

They had amazing features which you could grab some from. 
First off I’ve noticed no widget for iPhone yet. So hopefully you bring that in along with money reports ect.

Any update on the notifications? Also, being able to have a Payee’s email loaded so you can tick to send remittances when making a payment is essential.

As a new member I can say that this app is very nice when compared to the functionality of some of the Big 4 or even global banks. Where it is lacking is in the customisation of alerts/notifications. It would be great if we could opt-in/customise notifications of inbound/outbound payments (all or over a certain amount) and choose how to be notified - either via App (Push), SMS or email. That is really the only ‘big tick’ that this app is missing and I’m hoping the developer team advise it’s on the horizon. Cheers

Every time I try to pay a new user it locks me out when I go ti my messages for the security code. Then I have to re-enter user details etc… every case in the last month has not worked and I have had to find another form of payment so app has been useless in that regard. 

Also, I continually get “something went wrong” messages when I log in with additional messaging to say to come back later. Very inconvenient and not helpful when payments need to be made at that time
