And there the app went dark. Must update. Oh, and only for newest iOS. Great to waste time on this….
The latest NYT app update (v. 10.57) cannot run on iPhone 7
With the latest update of the NYT app (version 10.57) I can no longer access my subscription, because the app requires iOS 16 – which cannot run on my iPhone 7+. ☹️
Perfect!
The last time I gave the NYT app 4 stars, saying it needed dark mode to get the fifth. Well, here we are. The New York Times is a perfect place to read about everything that matters.
Messy and missing images
Very often images do not show (and yes have very good internet connectivity so is not the issue) Navigation is a mess. There is no real "home button", and the top navigation comes and goes, and sometimes theres is a back button at the top and sometimes at the bottom. A mess.

Impossible to cancel
Impossible to cancel the subscription. I feel like i have been conned. What a shame that even NYT is trying to squeeze the money out of you. The cancellation has to be as easy as signing up for subscription!!!

I enjoy reading articles before going to sleep. I really think the developers behind the app should consider to offer a dark mode version. Would raise my rating to 5 stars ⚫️⭐️
