Doesn’t work

I can see from other reviews this unable to update issue has been there for over a year. Just fix it already.

Terrible, do something NZ Post!!

App hasn’t been updated in 5 years, looks like something from the Stone Age, and doesn’t work properly, keeps crashing and now I can’t even sign in again after trying to reinstall it! NZ Post, pay a few $$ to a developer and get it fixed, bring it into the 21st century, it’s embarrassing . . .

Plain and simple Abandonware

chú giáo chú on

Hasn’t worked for a while some baseline functionality is retained but nothing online as such, the links having gone dead long ago. Now just plain and simple Abandonware. For a country so ‘connected’ online do much so it’ll likely be the first country to phase out actual cash money it’s beggars belief that the Post of all organisations doesn’t bother with an app (see Auspost app for ideas of a simple functional app, even stylish even if they might’ve sacrificed functionality for it but I digress. In a word sad.

Big fail

This app just doesn’t work. It fails to update information, constant error messages. Following reinstalling app, unable to log in and same old issues.

Sign in function doesn’t work …

… so not much use.

Shamefully out of date and buggy

No update in 4 years. That’s pretty terrible for an organisation as large and important as NZ post, especially now that more and more people are shopping online and getting stuff delivered. Has not been updated for modern iPhone screen sizes. Try to remove a parcel from the track list and it just doesn’t work. Try to name a parcel and it it says “Error” with no other detail. No notifications. NZ post could learn a lot from Australia Post’s app and their processes, a truly incredible example of what a modern postal service should be. Please get it together!

Build it properly or make it a web app

kiwipodcastcurator on

This app barely works and it’s clear this is not a ‘real’ iPhone app. The screen dimensions still appear tied to the iPhone 6-8s, and the icon in the launcher isn’t even the NZPost icon! It’s whatever framework or vendor or electron shell they decided to shortcut it with. Come on NZPost, invest in your tech team and build this thing from the ground up in-house. You’ll be able to grow a direct digital relationship with your users. I know you’ll have plenty of extra revenue from the pandemic, use it.

App not working

Andydcurtis on

The app has been unable to ‘update’ for quite sometime. I decided to uninstall and reinstall it. It then was unable to let me sign in. An error kept occurring. It’s difficult to find where under ‘support’ to email anyone. I’m over it. It’s useless

Needs account management

AaylaSecura1138 on

App is useful for tracking parcels and finding nearby post offices, but it lacks the important feature to manage your account, or at least your addresses. ParcelPod management would be nice too.

Won’t retain parcel name edits

VOR45 on

The app has been fine, until this week when it has suddenly stopped retaining any edit I make to parcel names and simply returns them to tracking numbers on closing the app. Very annoying.
