This game is just pure fun! Simple controls and beautiful graphics. Apple need to invest in more games like this going forward. Downloaded it not expecting much, however I was amazed at how brilliant it was. Props to the developers for making such a fun and engaging game.

Levels are well thought out and designed.
The controls are straight foreword enough and the difficulty is generally ok.
Graphics are decent and the game runs smoothly.

Downsides.
Game is way too short. Completed it in one run. Needs easily double the levels.
Weapons need to do more than they do.
A block option would be handy.

9/10, one of the best games on Apple Arcade and a competitive platformer- This is a Classic style platformer that takes you on a journey through Viking lore. Excellent, highly polished graphics, graphic novel style cut scenes that tell a simple but entertaining story, obviously made with love and care. The simple and clean art style found in general gameplay are perfectly suited for a platformer. The actions are simple to use and is a combination of jumping, dodging and attacking in a small variety of ways. The gameplay isn’t a constant punishment like other platformer but the bosses can challenging but not an impossible task.  Your weapons can be upgraded throughout, the balance of coin collection and purchasing upgrades is good and you often do not have the money to by everything and need to choose between items. The story is relatively short and can be completed in a few hours, however, it’s a good length for a mobile game. Post story, the levels remain active which you can dip back into to complete the game 100%, for example collecting all the coins, completing certain levels within a certain time limit and collecting hidden coins. Overall, it’s a brilliant, high level platformer worthy of a more in-depth sequel.

I honestly wasn’t expecting to enjoy this game as much as I did, it’s amazing. Simple in its concept but every level and world is slightly different and new mechanics are introduced regularly, mixing it up significantly and keeping you challenged and engaged. It’s colourful, the storyline is cute and is especially fun if you have a razer kishi or similar gaming controller! 10/10

Oddmar is honestly amazing. The game is perfect in terms of difficulty (possible yet challenging) and has brilliant graphics. The storyline is interesting (rare with video games) and the boss fights are original and a really fun experience. My only wish is that it is longer, it doesn’t take very long to complete. The developers did a good job with this and it is one of the best mobile games I’ve ever played.

I’m not normally a fan of platformers as I find they get boring quickly. But thought I’d give this a try as the graphics looked great.
It didn’t disappoint! Super fun little platformer, with amazing level design and artwork, great animation and sound design, and Oddmar is so full if character it’s hard not to love the game.  Would highly recommend this one!
