Smartphone iD - Passport photo

Would give one star app says it can give a free photo will not give you anything unless you first give your email and THEN they say you have to pay for the photo I just took… I can’t even get the raw image I just took to my camera roll without paying it’s a scam don’t download it or use it nothing is free as it claims

Lets you take picture then leads you to believe it is acceptable and asks for payment. THEN find out it is not ok, asks to retake- repeatedly. I must have taken 20 pics. None were approved. Ended up at Staples. Also- extra fee charged for FRANCE payment.

I used this app because I live in the United States and I needed to renew my passport. I took a photo using the app and they provided me with a passport photo in less than an hour. The photo looks nice but it is worthless, you cannot use it to renew your passport online. When you try to upload the photo, you get an error message saying that the photo isn’t big enough. Afterwards I looked at the photo guidelines on the website, and it says that you can’t use any apps, filters, computer software or artificial intelligence for the photo you submit. So if you want to use this app to renew your US passport, you will only be wasting your money.

Are these guys serious. It has no self timer so you can see your arm stretched out in every photo if you’re doing it by yourself or your body’s off to a weird angle. And it’s only a camera and won’t let you grab a photo from your phone that you were able to take with a self timer so you don’t look like a goof. These people did absolutely no thinking whatsoever

Canada will not accept any photos from digital apps like this. There is no stamp of guarantee on the back of the photos. Waste of money

!!!DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! Tried multiple times and photos keep getting rejected for “not looking at the camera” when we looked directly in the lens every single time. Do not waste your money. Pretty sure we got scammed.

This is a total scam. We never got our pictures and when we asked for a refund they deleted any history of my order. Do not get your pictures through this app!

Three weeks to send out photos is unacceptable. And the quoted price is false advertising because in the end, it still costs $11 for two tiny pictures. Would have given one star, but bumped it to two because the app is actually well done and easy to use.

I absolutely hate being scammed and wasting my time. This app is NOT free, the download is free. SCAM!
