Opticsan is just brilliant. It's allowed me to simply & easily make QR codes a part of all the marketing material for my small business but it says it’s compatible with iPads & I can’t install it on my iPad Mini.

Hi guys, Without doubt the best application for reading and generating QR Codes I have used. Quick decoding; customizable; reliable; From time to time I quick re-review my applications to ensure I'm using the most appropriate tools. 5 out of 5 stars guys. I won't bother reviewing this one too often as it's a clear proven winner. Cheers and thanks again. On prior reviews I spoke highly off this QR code ap applying the maximum 5 star rating. It seems that as of iOS5 on the iPhone 4 didn't take a lot to upset the native camera when used with some releases of the iPhone 4. I have heard it's completely fine with the iPhone 4S as the hardware architecture has changed since iPhone 4. The issue it seems is actually an issue for Apple to clear up and is only in some iPhone 4 releases. Although it was this application that brought the iPhone fault to my attention, on further testing the fault in the iOS Apple camera existed regardless of whether this app was loaded to the phone or not. I only noticed the fault because the scanning utilized the native camera utility. A bit sloppy on Apples part but nobodies perfect. I must say though, that after Apple happily replaced my iPhone again at no cost, it resulted in the issues going away completely. Thank you to Apple for their excellent product backup service. After that experience I now also own an iPad and a Mac Book Pro. Just shows what good service can do for a business. With two apparently faulty iPhone 4 phones (I use the word phone again instead of making the 4 plural to avoid model confusion) , after removing all other application that accessed the camera and reinstalling iOS5 then iOS5.01. The camera software faulted and locked up again. In certain conditions the iris representing the app starting, begins opening but fails when it should be ready for action. It simple won't open, and the camera app is unusable until you completely reinstall as a new phone and then restore from backup to add your other accumulated applications and contacts. Sorry guys, this is not your fault. Would like Apple to spend a little time rejigging the camera app native to the iOS5s for the original iPhone 4.

Very good

Whilst the app does exactly what it is designed to do, you can do all of this for free. But having said that it is always worth supporting the developers of iPhone apps. An issue that i have found is that when you can codes that email address' and phone numbers are entered in contact information fields as other - most QR apps will enter these as home fields not other... This is a bit of a down side to this app. Have a look at a free QR app called "QR App" strangely enough - this will show you how it should be scanned and entered.

Tried a few other scanners.. This is by far the fastest, smartest and best QR Code reader out there.. Best all in one scanner for the iPhone. Would be even better if they expanded it to include more barcode types, otherwise worth the money.
