A good app
I like the app, it makes reading and surfing books easier but I think some improvements are necessary such as dark mode when reading pages

Great app… they could be improved
Gear content but sometimes the editing of the books isn’t the best… for example, code is not always well indebted.
Get worst overtime
I have been a bookshelf user since its beta in the 2000s and I am amazed how little this service improved overtime. How is it possible to have almost 20y of existence and still be that bad? You can feel how this product is now designed for internal metrics instead of trying to make it useful for the users. Like take search. I want to get all books about Swift. So I pick / search swift and what do I get in the result? Close to 9000 “books”. However, most of the results are just crap: book chapters with ONE word about swift. No way to filter them. Just noise everywhere to make users thinks they have more results than there is. WTF would I want to have a chapter talking about Swift in a C++ book in the results? i don’t. Just fire the PM of this project already. They are incompetent.
Casting on TV
I’m using chromecast to cast videos on my TV. This app is providing a button to cast but it’s not working well. This option is a must for me.

Learn everything everywhere
The app is well done. We have almost the same content as the web application. The developers improve the app time to time and make it better at each iteration. An improvement can be to better manage playlists (with sub-playlists) I recommend the app and the subscription.

I always get logged out of the app, and I’m not being proposed to fast log in.
