## Oticon Companion Description
This app lets you control your hearing aids from your mobile device. It comes with an app for Apple Watch helping you discreetly change programs and adjust volume (when within Bluetooth range).

Just a note: some features may be available depending on your hearing aid model. Check below for details.

•	Adjust sound volume for each hearing aid together or separately
•	Mute surroundings for better focus
•	Switch between programs set by your hearing care professional
•	Check battery levels
•	Use SpeechBooster to reduce background noise and enhance speech (available for all hearing aid models except Oticon Zeal™, Jet PX, Zircon, Opn™, Ruby) 
•	Stream calls, music, and podcasts directly to your hearing aids (availability may vary depending on your phone model)
•	Find your hearing aids if lost (requires location services always turned on)
•	Access app support and troubleshooting solutions
•	Meet your hearing care professional for an online visit (by appointment)
•	Adjust streaming sounds with streaming equalizer (available for all hearing aid models except Oticon Opn™ and Oticon Siya)
•	Adjust sounds around you with sound equalizer (available for Oticon Zeal™,  Oticon Intent™ and Oticon Real™ models)
•	Track your progress with HearingFitness™ feature (available for Oticon Zeal™, Oticon Intent™ and Oticon Real™ models)
•	Handle wireless accessories paired with your hearing aids such as TV Adapters, Oticon EduMic or ConnectClip
•	Connect to and adjust an Auracast™ broadcast (available for Oticon Intent™ and Oticon Zeal™ models) 

First use:
You need to pair your hearing aids with this app to use it to control your hearing aids. 

App availability:
The app is compatible with most hearing aid models. If you have hearing aids from 2016-2018 and haven't updated them yet, a hearing aid update is required for this app to work. We recommend regular hearing aid updates during your routine check-up with your hearing care professional.

For optimal performance, we recommend updating your device to iOS 15.2 or later.

Får ikke appen til å virke. Kobler opp en side. Fungerer ikke etter oppgitt problemløsning. Utrolig at fungerende løsning ødelegges av nerdete ideer.

Syns den nye appen virker dårligere enn den forrige appen. 

Savner stemmen som sier hvilket program høreapparat står på og som sier hvor mye prosent det er igjen på batteriet. 
Selv om jeg har satt den på varsling på batteriet så får jeg aldri noen varsling på tlf eller i øret føre batteriet er tomt, da piper det. 
Og da er det litt for seint… 

Den gamle oticon appen var mye bedre.

Fiks stabiliteten på denne appen så blir den sikkert bra. Må jo resette appen flere ganger om dagen da den faller ut og ikke klarer å koble seg opp riktig. Gode gamle Oticon On appen var myyyyye mer stabil.

Når jeg slår på om morgenen klarer høreapparatet å finne appen på telefonen når den ligger ved siden av. Men så fort jeg legger i fra meg telefonen og går til et annet rom er den ikke lenger påkoblet på telefonen. Har slettet appen og lastet den inn på nytt flere ganger uten at det hjelper. Totalt ubrukelig, la oss få tilbake den gamle.

Appen er utrolig treg når den kobler til høreapparatene og jeg må stadig vekk restarte appen for å få kontakt med begge høreapparatene. 
Jeg savner også equalizer på støyprogram slik den gamle appen har. 
Vennligst la oss få bruke den gamle appen som fungerte utmerket, eller rett opp manglene asap!!

Den påtvungne oppgraderingen/overgangen til Companion var et stort tilbakeskritt. Må som regel restarte appen for i det hele tatt få den til å virke. Når appen omsider får kontakt med høreapparatene så er den treg. On var adskillig bedre.

Appen låser seg og må stadig slettes og lastes ned på nytt.  Ofte  virker reguleringen og appen bare på ett øre. Jeg er meget misfornøyd! La oss få tilgang til den gamle appen. Jeg har en ganske ny iPhone, problemet ligger ikke der.

Får som de fleste andre ikke koblet opp apparatene til Companion. Lastet iOS 17 og restartet telefon og apparater flere ganger uten at det hjelper. Telefonen finner heldigvis apparatene fortsatt. Oticon må trekke denne appen og evt legge den ut på nytt når den er testet ordentlig. Skal inn i prøveperiode på nye apparater snart og det blir ikke oticon denne gangen hvis de ikke får skikk på dette selv om jeg er på mine tredje apparat derifra og har vært fornøyd siden 2005

Den nye appen er rett og slett ikke brukbar.
Har oppgradert iPhone til iOS 17.3.
Men fungerer like dårlig. Sletter og legger inn påbygg fungerer den en kort stund, så er det tilbake igjenn. Kobler ikke til Venstre apparat, den søker og søker. Hvorfor ikke legge ut den gamle den fungerte ihvertfall????? Nå har jeg fjernet den og skal legge den inn igjen. Sånn kan en ikke ha det.
Oticon, nå må dere komme på banen.

### *---- "Det blir nok ikke Oticon denne gangen…"
Jeg er i ferd med å prøve ut nye høreapparater, og jeg har vært en fornøyd bruker av Oticon OPN-1 og ON-appen i 6 år,så jeg gledet meg til å prøve Oticon Real 1 og Companion-appen for å oppleve hva våre danske venner har fått til i løpet av de siste 6 årene.

Forventningene er store. 6 år er lang tid i elektronikkens verden. 

Isolert sett, som et par rene høreapparater, oppfyller Real greit. Det gjorde OPN også.

Men så er det forventningene til integrasjonen med iPhone og iPad: Jeg mener det i 2023 bør være funksjonalitet som fra et sett Bluetooth-høretelefoner, som AirPods eller Sony WH-1xxx, og her har Oticon ikke levert. 

Jeg kan ikke velge mellom å høre på musikk fra iPad eller iPhone (uten avinstallering), og det er ingen støtte for Siri. 

Disse manglene er så viktige at jeg om en måned, når prøveperioden er over, nok kommer til å velge et annet merke. 

Det finnes konkurrenter som leverer bedre på dette, Oticon!

Den nye appen er helt ubrukelig. Lyden har blitt blekkspann. Helt idiotisk å bytte app uten O lære opp brukerne på forhånd. Om ikke dette blir bedre spå vil jeg bytte høreapparat ! Dette er NM-tittel Andre Oticon og jeg har vært fornøyd tidligere, men dette er ikke brukenes for meg!
