It’s useful. But the quality of transcription is still not great. It’s good enough but if transcription is Otter’s bread and butter then I think I think they’ve good some investment to do. I am still going to keep my subscription because I am confident the transcription quality will improve over time.
This is my favorite app when recording medical minutes of the meeting. I’m glad my officemate introduced me to Otter. This app is so helpful.
It’s possible My credit card got hacked after paying for this service. Since I received my new card I only made two purchases and this was one of both. I’m contacting the other supplier to make them aware
I’m almost to skeptical that any of the free apps offered are as good as this one. I use it within my business session and would never trust any other app at this point for such clear audio, speaker differential ability and transcription accuracy
Beware of your automatic bot setting!! I was very upset that the Otter bot was automatically ‘attending’ a closed meeting without me realizing it! It became a huge issue in this closed meeting I was scheduled to attend but couldn’t. I then realized that it was the new setting on Otter.ai! I am so unhappy about this and I now made sure I disconnected all my calendars. I am considering of not renewing my subscription of Otter.ai. Not cool.
It lost 80% transcripts and the 20% remained transcripts is not possible to understand! This is the waste of money!!! Never subscribe this service.
Got it a couple of weeks ago. Did not realize 179$ a year membership is only getting me 20 hours of transcription per month. Ridiculous.
Almost impossible to cancel if you have a paid version. Very disappointing as the app was very helpful otherwise. I just don’t like being surprised every month by a random $20 for an account that I emailed a cancelation for
This app doesn’t work for anybody who works with people one on one, it also makes a substantial number of errors with respect to documenting the words that you’re saying. Not at all useful. I actually get a better product out of just documenting via voice into the Notes section of my Google calendar events huge waste of money.
This app has helped me in so many ways , rI couldn’t progress this quickly before - thank you!
