Owlet Dream

My baby is 4months old now and the sock has been a god send for us. He did have the best start and suffers with apneas. because of that he is on oxygen 24 hour a day, I did speak to the doctor before buying the dream sock and they said they wouldn't tell me to go out and buy one but they did say they had one for there own child so that was good enough for me, it has been amazing up until 3 days ago and now it will not show live sleep cycles it just always says graphing data! I've googled how to try fix it but had no luck😩

It’s amazing when it works but we have now been trying to use it for a 3 weeks now and the sock struggle to connect to the base app has alway been very buggy it also add sleep data when the sock is on charge and sends notifications to tell me the sock placement is incorrect (it’s on charge!?!? Will update review when bugs have hopefully been fixed but at the moment it’s a £300 headache

The Owlet cam 2 is very useful but the app regularly loses its connection with it, plus you can’t use 2 cameras with the same profile. So if you have a sock and need to use the camera from the 2nd profile, you can’t keep an eye on both at once. Disappointing considering how expensive the hardware is.

Used to work ok but for the last week we no longer get sleep graph data or an accurate history - it’s full of gaps and the timings are off. We had the previous version with no issues! Very expensive for something so broken

Is great when it works. Not showing graphing of awake,light,deep sleep. Missing readings throughout the night, constantly having to go in and out of app. Refreshing and refreshing to see readings. A lot of time not connecting to base station. Very frustrating considering the price of it

Visiting London over Christmas, we brought the camera with us. Signing into the app produces an error message saying either the user id or password are wrong or there is a problem using in outside of our home region. No suggestion how to address the issue - is it the user name? The password? If it’s the region do we have to return the US in order to use the product? VERY DISAPPOINTING!

Latest update made this rubbish. Changed look which isn’t better, change of where you click to log sleep and most importantly super glitchy. Keeps losing feed and you have to close it and go back in to the app. It’s infuriating. Best in mind I haven’t changed internet provider or location of camera etc. and it’s become the norm the camera loses feed. Also the ‘high noise’ element. Is the high noise my crying baby..?! Cause I just don’t see that’s needed, surely you’re aware how noisy your household and their their sleep environment are. Annoying changes for the sake of making changes.

I ordered the Owlet Sock last week and have spent every single day trying to connect it to the app. I have followed all the steps correctly and have the correct type of WiFi however it does not connect or work. I have emailed the team but no reply still. It’s a waste of money.

The app is awful, rendering the product virtually useless. It does not work most of the time and when it does works, it takes centuries to load. This is despite efforts to log out / in again, delete / download the app again, remove / add device again, restart the base station, change WiFi connection, restart the router. No troubleshooting works, it just doesn’t work and I’m not sure why an FDA product invests so little in their app that is so crucial to its use.

When it works it’s great, but something I’ve found in the couple of months of having this, is that the app constantly struggles to connect to the base station, therefore not giving you a live view/ any data at all, I can’t even count how many times this has happened, and this is when I’m sat next to the base station, and the WiFi router is a short distance away in the next room. For the price you pay, you shouldn’t have to sit for what can sometimes be up to an hour, if not more, trying to get the app to work with the base station, it’s rather frustrating. Not only that but I’ve also noticed recently it has been disconnecting/not recording health readings for a few hours during the night. Usually around 12/1am. But I can say most of the time it works and it’s great.
