The OWWA mobile application is very confusing and poorly designed. When trying to log in for the first time, there is no option to enter a password. Instead, users are asked to enter a PIN, but there is no clear explanation that you must sign up first to create the PIN. This creates unnecessary confusion for many OFWs who are simply trying to access their membership information.

Furthermore, after successfully logging in, users cannot update important details such as beneficiary information. This is a critical feature that should always be accessible, considering that beneficiary records are very important for OFWs and their families.

Another major concern is accessibility. Many OFWs, especially older workers, are not familiar with modern mobile applications. If this app is mandatory for OFWs to use, the system should be simple, user-friendly, and easy to understand. Unfortunately, the current design makes it difficult even for people who are familiar with technology.

Millions of OFWs rely on OWWA services. With such a large number of users, it is disappointing that the application still has these basic usability problems. I strongly urge OWWA to review this system, improve the application design, and work with competent developers to ensure that OFWs receive a reliable and efficient digital service.

OFWs deserve better systems and support, considering the huge contribution they make to the Philippine economy.

At first while trying to log in there is no option to enter password instead need to enter pin. Later on i found out to be able to log in we must sign up first so that we are able to create a pin and get log in.    Second we cannot update the information especially the beneficiaries all are wrong entries by the OWWA it extract the wrong information from the old app. I suggest better to improve or make a trial first before launching this new OWWA app.

If you encouter an “invalid login” error, please create a new account and fill in all the required information. After successfully registering, you’ll receive a one time password OTP at the email address you provided. Enter the OTP, and you’ll then be able to set your desired password.
