I’ve been using this app for about three, almost four years, and I love it!! It was so easy for younger me to use, and it’s just so perfect if you’d like to write a book!! I’m soon going to be writing a book about Alterhumanity, and I’ll be using this!! Thank you so much!!!!!
This game is awesome. I love it. It’s so useful. But, as I was using it to help with some suggestions, it started getting weird. It started talking about out-of-the-ordinary things. I I got confused, ‘cuz If you’d play the app like I do (Everyday, for a couple months) you’d be confused. And Idk if other people are having this problem, but it’s really annoying. I deleted the app and downloaded it agin. Not really helpful. It’s was just an outstanding app, and I just wish it wasn’t like this. I hope the editors of the app would fix this.
Stoled my work and now I keep receiving an error on my other app. I can’t see my previous writing at all this invasive app downloaded my work from my iCloud automatically. Somehow my work just appeared on this -Paper app- with some weird codes and this / on each paragraph or in between sentences! Thank god I had saved my original story somewhere else!! :/
Downloaded to try to make a simple text file. Pasting raw text into the app causes it to lock up. Deleted the app, useless to me.

Neat, clean app for notes/writing. Too expensive for what it is. Annoying cursor. Edit: In response to the developers response: You can turn off the cursor during the untimed free trial - but whenever that ends, all of the options, except text size and dark mode, are behind a paywall. $29.99/mo or $99.99/yr It is a really slick app. It’s beautiful. Very well designed. But all of the options are (or will be) behind a paywall. To me, a casual user on a mobile device just wanting to take some notes, the price is a non-starter. Perhaps if I wanted to use it to replace Word on my laptop it would be something to consider, but I’m only taking notes on my phone. My one real complaint is that the cursor, which will jump around and ‘fall asleep’, when ‘waking up’ again causes the app to freeze. Not always and not for long but long enough to become irksome.
I’m having to move writing apps because of an update to my old one that completely changed the interface and got rid of the simple look. Finding this has been such a lifesaver, and it’s left me with my expectations blown away. You can really tell the creator just wants to make a tool like this available to people and although there is a paid option for it, you can complete function without it as it almost serves as a way to give back out of gratitude. The creator doesn’t demand anything. I was joyfully surprised at the hidden trove of features this has, including export as html, which is typically only available through big expensive softwares or learning it yourself. This is a HUGE plus for me as an ao3 author, as that sadly does not support markdown and I’d have to manually reformat myself. You just saved so much of my time. Love everything. Love that it’s all backed up in my files, that gives me a lot more confidence i won’t lose things. Love the markdown support and the themes and the personal option to reach out to the developer in app. I have yet to use this app for an extended amount of time but the evident love that was put into making it assures me a lot :)
This game is the best because you can write stuff if your sad or something that you want to write down so I love it you should get it
Paper is cool, I use the app to write stories and you can print them. I just wish you could add pictures though. But I still love paper. 👍
