More advanced personalization can be purchased with Pro Features. You will not be buying anything blindly, though. The trial period for Pro Features is untimed, so you can take your time to decide if they are a worthy investment. While trialing Pro Features, you might occasionally see a popup. Simply press Reset in the popup to get rid of it completely. Pro Features are either a subscription or a one-time purchase. Both the subscription and the one-time purchase unlock Pro Features on all your iPhones and iPads that share the same Apple ID. This subscription (or one-time purchase) applies only to iPhones and iPads. Macs require a separate subscription (or one-time purchase). The one-time purchase is hidden by default. Edit: In response to the developers response: You can turn off the cursor during the untimed free trial - but whenever that ends, all of the options, except text size and dark mode, are behind a paywall. $29.99/mo or $99.99/yr It is a really slick app. It’s beautiful. Very well designed. But all of the options are (or will be) behind a paywall. To me, a casual user on a mobile device just wanting to take some notes, the price is a non-starter. Perhaps if I wanted to use it to replace Word on my laptop it would be something to consider, but I’m only taking notes on my phone. My one real complaint is that the cursor, which will jump around and ‘fall asleep’, when ‘waking up’ again causes the app to freeze. Finding this has been such a lifesaver, and it’s left me with my expectations blown away. You can really tell the creator just wants to make a tool like this available to people and although there is a paid option for it, you can complete function without it as it almost serves as a way to give back out of gratitude. The creator doesn’t demand anything. I was joyfully surprised at the hidden trove of features this has, including export as html, which is typically only available through big expensive softwares or learning it yourself. This is a HUGE plus for me as an ao3 author, as that sadly does not support markdown and I’d have to manually reformat myself. You just saved so much of my time. Love everything. Love that it’s all backed up in my files, that gives me a lot more confidence i won’t lose things. Also, with a few settings changes, you can also make this a full-screen writing interface only (with zero menu bars on the screen). Syncs really fast and exporting to formats like Word (for my Editor) works perfectly as well.
