Idk why people are saying this doesn’t work. I have it hooked up to a ton of different sources and have no issues with any of it - it has been and continues to be the best way to read manga on iOS. You just have to google how to get the sources, it’s extremely well documented and easy to set up.

Running on iPadOS 18.0 (22A5282m), the app crashes on launch. No errors given, just start animation, then back to Home Screen.

Looking I had realized this hasn’t had an update for a while, so I checked the GitHub repository. This project hasn’t received an full update in almost a year… I used to be a patreon supporter, and this make me very sad to see the condition of this beautiful application. I hope was see more from the developers, but I doubt it as it would appear the project has been dropped…

Coming from Tachiyomi on android there are things I like more and things I like less.  Imo the reader on Paperback is a bit cleaner and the quality of source updates is absolutely better.  Tachiyomi usually gets a Cloudflare issue every other day completely breaking certain sources.  The option to skip repeat chapters on a certain source is a godsend.  The biggest thing I miss however is the “updates” page.  Tachiyomi had an option to show all daily updates in a nice convenient list, it was like having a selection of things to read every other day where as Paperback you need to put in a little more mental effort to remember to read something.  It’s a minor pet peeve but I think an updates tab would be a great thing for the app.  I hope it can get added.

As a Alpha and Beta tester I need to alert the people that this app does get lots of updates and is being worked on a lot daily. To note sources is not apart of this app. you will have to search online and easily to get your sources from such as Netsky Discord. This app is designed to be self online service komga client, honestly like similar other apps this one should never be taken down as it fully follows Apple guideline rules. DONT JUST RATE THIS APP DOWN WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING HOW THIS APP WORKS OR HOW TO MAKE OR GET SOURCES
