Paprika Recipe Manager 3

iPhone X iOS 16.7 Paprika v4.8.1 Response status code unacceptable: 500

Am using Paprika for a very long time. After updating my iPhone to iOS Version 16.1.1, the phone become very hot while running Paprika, so much the the screen brightness drop to black. I’ve send a message to Apple but so far no comment from them. All other app working fine.

I’ve been meal planning for years but since we had our baby we’ve been winging it, which isn’t good for our waistlines or wallets. I absolutely love this app. Searching for family friendly recipes is a breeze and I can finally use up what’s in my pantry.

I don’t need to buy cookbooks anymore! This app makes saving online recipes so easy. I love that you can scale in the app, and convert (eg imperial to metric). I’d really recommend Paprika, have been using it for a good few years now.

A way to store all my favourite recipes in one spot, instead of keeping hundreds of emails. My phone also does not keep closing in the middle of a recipe. Love this app.

I really love this app and loved that it even recognises other languages. However, I feel like the category system is not user friendly. It should be easier to categorise items maybe by selecting labels and being able to drag labels onto recipes.

It’s a great app but sadly the support is sub standard, wrote to them re the above three weeks ago, no response from them at all.

Brilliant app, works seamlessly with my iMac, iPhone and iPad, and the fact that I can download a recipe within 30 seconds and covert to metric is magic. A star is born, methinks.

This program is amazing and it works fantastically well. I’m a 70+ year old food lover and never stop reading recipes and trying new approaches. Paprika helps me store and find recipes quickly and efficiently. I have almost 850 recipes stored, all classified/indexed, so easy to find. May never make/cook them all, but learn so much by reading and comparing recipes. You will not be disappointed by this amazing program. Clive King, Johannesburg, South Africa

I have used this app on almost a daily basis since it came out. It’s hands down one of the most useful apps I own. It’s still good, but now there are competitors and I hate to say, some of their features may sway me to switch. This app would be 5 star+ if only for a couple of things that other apps do that this one doesn’t. First, the Home screen opens to an overwhelmingly unhelpful list of ALL recipes you’ve saved instead of to the category folders you’ve created (so what is the point of them?) or at the very least, allow users to use the sort by function to sort by folders. It would make things so much easier to find if the Home screen opened to the folders (like chapters in a cookbook). Let the folders act as folders consolidating things and incorporate the search functionality over that. Another thing that would be extremely useful would be a way to import recipes from print, other recipe apps do this. Not all recipes are online. I’d gladly give it 5 stars if these two things were fixed.
