Glanced at the reviews, saw a good rating, downloaded it, to create an account I had to add $20 to wallet. Didn’t like that so I didn’t do it, went back to read the reviews, thank God I did. Don’t pay anything in here. I dodged a bullet .

This app is dishonest and looking to scam you. If payment is required 2 minutes later, they will just show “no payment required” and then just give you a $100 ticket 15 mins later. Absolutely leeches on society

This app will absolutely allow you to park in a very real zone that is say (as was my case) not available to park between 5am and 2 am. Aka you can only park there three hours a day. The app took my money in this zone and then I got towed. The city got paid twice. Planning to report it to my card company as fraud.

I think most of these positive 5-star reviews are fake. There is no way this app gets 5 stars. First of all, this is the only parking app that requires you to preload $20. Then, it requires you to reload if your balance gets down to $10. So you can never use the full amount you paid. With every other parking app I have used in the Chicago area and in other cities, you can just pay for your one time parking event without being forced to preload more cash than you’ll use. AND in any account experience that lets you reload, they typically let you set the parameters for when you want to preload and how much. I suppose technically they let you do that, but you can only change the amounts to be higher than their presets, not lower. This is a stand-out in the worst way. Feels like a scam. They should have an option for “visitors” to the city who just want to pay as they go. You can still do that by finding the kiosk on the sidewalk instead of using the app, which is what I ended up doing because this app was shady as ****. Also, in reading some other reviews, it seems like people are getting parking tickets with not negligible frequency even when they do pay!! Scam!

Used to be able to pay per use via the app but now it forces you to pre-load AT LEAST $20. For a $2.00 spot so you can keep the extra 18? Yeah no. Deleting this scam app. Guess I will have to pay the box from now on, so much for modern convenience.

There is absolutely no reason this app can’t let you X out of a session you started by accident. A previous zone accidentally loaded and I couldn’t cancel. I started a second session in the correct zone hoping it would cancel out the first one. Nope! So I had two simultaneous sessions on the same car which is the stupidest thing ever. Money grab. They require you to submit for a refund instead which is an easy way to steal your money because they know people will be too lazy to complete those extra steps. Just let me X out the session I accidentally just started! What a blind spot and stupid oversight. I’ve used this app for years otherwise. What a scam.

### ***-- "Needs Different Alert Sounds! Dangerous!"
Functionally, this app is good and does what it is supposed to. Im giving it 3 stars, though, only because the alert notification that goes off on your phone when your time is about to expire is of a loud car honk.  It also honks again when your time has expired. There have been so many times I have gotten back in my car and started driving, when all of a sudden I hear a very loud honk that is played through my car speakers (connected via Bluetooth). Multiple times that noise caused me to immediately hit my brakes, thinking someone is honking at me or I am in danger of hitting someone. When it almost got me into an accident, I finally said this is enough, I have to write a review.  I hope the developers read this. Please change the notification sounds for this app, it is seriously dangerous.

This app makes it harder and more expensive to park while hoarding unnecessary personally identifiable information. And no effort from the developers to use the easily adoptable iOS technology that would make this app tolerable. Lazy.

This app has one major problem that stops me from using it. You have to put in a certain amount of money, appears to be a minimum of $20, and then the transactions are deducted from your balance. You can’t just pay when you park like you can with other apps. We are only in Chicago on occasion, so we don’t want to keep money on an account.
