I’ve used mSecure for years. I like its independence and cross platform support.

I put up with upgrades and syncing issues for more than 2 years. No more!! I found mSecure to be inconsistent when I moved to a it’s upgrade/new version. My data didn’t move between the desktop and mobile versions. I just ended my subscription!!

Have used and highly rated prior versions of mSecure. But wifi sync is critical to me and I don't want my passwords in the cloud. My App will not sync and mSecure ignores my pleas for help.

I have been using mSecure for 6 years now. It is the most reliable and effective method for storing and recovering my passwords along with personal information for myself and my family in regards to identity information.

I used mSecure for seven years. I was close to retirement and with all of the protection I have on my laptop, I got hacked. Went through all my various accounts and changed passwords and user names. In doing so I also reviewed a number of sites to find out what is the best Password Manager. 1Password came up a number of times. Went through the hassle of changing over. The reviews lied. MSecure has a much better interface. Does not continuously pop up text fields that cover what I am typing. Much easier to find my records. After four months i switched back to MSecure. As for 1Password, I gave it a good chance. The developers just made it do to much and frustrating to use.

Update: Recent reviews misrepresent things. The developer responses are legit. This app works solidly and is well-supported. I’ve relied on the app for many years and found it to still be rock solid. I especially like that I can keep my passwords on my phone and on my Mac and sync between the two via WiFi - no third party cloud required. I like the new features including the ability to easily see which passwords are old. I look forward to the emergency access feature.

Depend on this tool daily. Concerned with difficulty retrieving file if I forget or loose my IPhone?

Used this app for >8 years and loved it. Paid the upfront 1 time fee. Suddenly the app disappears from my phone due to a total revision of the previous version. Couldn’t find any of my info—credit cards, DLs, student loans, SS info on myself, kids parents, pictures of all my important cards, birth certs, all website logins…. I wanted to throw up. Luckily I remember I had backed up this information a few months prior BUT even after syncing this backup only maybe 1/4 of what I had saved remained. So upset and now I keep getting hounded about needing to buy a new subscription!! Seriously?! Ridiculous

I have used this for years and it just gets worse. Their latest feature is spontaneously deleting records you are working on. I have tried to get off this vendor locked trash but it’s very difficult and they of course will not help to do that. Keep away from this at all costs. You will thank me later.

This app was my go to for 10 years. I got a new phone and lost everything. “customer support” was horrible. Would not listen to my problem. Unable to solve the issue. Just kept telling me I forgot my password… the same password I used for 10 years. Unable to re-populate with any backup I had diligently completed. Definitely a glitch on mSecure‘s side, but cost me dearly! I no longer recommend this app to anyone. *** print a hard copy of all of your passwords and information from this app and store it. You will eventually lose all of your information as I did!
