Pastel Daily Kana Quiz (Hiragana & Katakana Test)

L'applicazione è molto buona e mi sono trovato davvero bene per ripassare, se fosse gratis anche il Katakana sarebbe perfetta

Ho scaricato alcune applicazioni per tenere sempre allenata la mia conoscenza degli alfabeti anche in modi carini e dinamici quando non posso fare esercizi su carta. Questa app è eccezionale, mi è piaciuta così tanto che ho addirittura speso i 4,99€ per la versione completa. È ben fatta, è super kawaii con i colori pastello e aiuta veramente a ripassare i kana! Comprese le forme composte! Acquistatela.

I’ve been using this app on and off for a few years and purchased the extension for more characters. It’s fast paced so you have to keep up with the characters! The only thing that I would recommend is that you can hide the romanji and only show the character so you’re not forced to second guess yourself. I also noticed that when I use headphones a lot of the characters SOUND the same. I thought I was crazy getting the characters wrong when I HEARD it but turns out that wasn’t my hearing problem. Hope y’all can fix this!

The design makes you want to play more and its great to challenge yourself. One suggestion though, it would be really good if you could have a mode where you tap on the hiragana or katakana with only sounds!

With that I have to say I’ve learned so much faster than memorizing alone. I recommend even the paid version since it’s so helpful and timeless.

Simple but effective

This app would be perfect if the audio for the Kana was better. Since that’s what’s most important I have to take two stars. Other than that perfect app. The visual and sound design is great!

This app is nice for people already learning Japanese. Definitely only useful if you already have the chararacters down fairly well. The options to pick which characters to include is great. This app is helping me to identify the characters faster. The problem I have is the time limit. There needs to be an option to increase the time you have to answer. The current time is about 2 seconds. Which is great if you already have all the characters memorized, but not so great if you are still having trouble with a few of them... such as nu/me and ne/wa. Tl:dr - Memorize the characters first, then use this app to help you identify them faster.

This is the best hiragana/katakana drill app that I practiced with so far! It FORCES you to stop second guessing your knowledge and you have to move speedily. It helps you to stop translating the characters in your native language and to just know them when you hear or see them. It has the full list of the characters where people can also study the characters before drilling themselves...the drill is NOT where you “study” the characters...it’s where you test whether or not you DO know them. That’s why some people are probably complaining; they want to use the testing area as the study section. It’s totally for beginners if you use it correctly; I’m a beginner too. I nearly avoided this app because of some of the complaining reviewers...but I guess everyone’s learning style is different. I WILL finally learn katakana using this app. Yay!

I used this app when I first started learning Japanese in college and I still use it in my free time to study. It really helped me a lot when I was struggling to learn hiragana and katakana. 10/10.
