I really appreciate the nuggets of truth drawn from the whole discussion, that otherwise I may miss.

The app is useful but the website works just fine. Apple has no right to gouge into the profits of creators the way they are intending to so I’m deleting the app and doing all subs on the website.

I’ve been a generally happy user of this app, but I am deleting it because I do not wish to support Apple’s rent-seeking tactics. The Web site is perfectly fine for my purposes. Note to Patreon: don’t take this lying down!

To have a different prospect and open mind discussions platform in DDN vs the single narrative, single size and enforced propaganda mainstream media. Please keep the good and varied discussions going.

This app I love because of who I follow but it’s incredibly annoying that it’ll just randomly shut down and push me out of the app. I have hoped with each update that it’d be fixed but it hasn’t. It’s annoying paying for an app that just shut downs while watching or commenting something. I do hope this fault is fixed soon.

I have found some wonderful creators on Paetron with useful content. It feels more intimate than other platforms.

Definitely not continuing with Patreon, creators can lose their income without a dispute process (as just happened to Artur Rehi) Patreon are so arrogant they don’t even provide him with a dispute process. They bend to Russian bots, makes you also wonder if they are benefiting off the frozen funds in Patreon accounts- no thanks
