probably the dumbest security system that exists on the internet, you can't log into your account because it says that you need to reset your password for security, but then it asks you to confirm that it was you by logging into the program, but you can't log into the program because you reset your password, and when you reset your password, a code comes to your email that you enter online and it asks you to confirm all this through the program that you can't log into, what a genius came up with this, he needs to be kicked out of the company, there are always some problems with this PayPal, no other system has this, I would have spoken out more harshly if they hadn't banned me later...

Does not allow you to close your account, doesn’t have account support at all which is a part of its policy not to close your account. Don’t recommend it for EU users if you respect your privacy.

I moved to Lithuania 2 years ago and still used PayPal a year ago, but I had MFA enabled by my phone number, which unfortunately got blocked due to inactivity in a country where I don't live anymore. The problem is that I cannot log in. I can confirm my email and security questions, but I am constantly asked for an SMS code that I can no longer enter. The crux of my complaint is that I could not find how to contact tech support to disable MFA or explore other options. All channels require authorization, but my issue is that I cannot log in to the app. The only way is to call, but no phone answers during business hours. As a result, I can't even contact support if I want to delete my account, which seems to violate GDPR.

The app doesn't start properly on first launch. Always need to reopen app to login properly.

Been using PayPal for several years. However they have decided to take all facility's off me with no answer to why. After 9 days of asking I just get the same generic answers back. I won't be using PayPal from now on the advisors have no clue what they are saying and there is zero customer services. I find it shocking that a company of this size doesn't know anything .. or rather it does it just doesn't want to disclose the information .. shocking!
